I just got the lighting one from amazon for 150. Love it so far. Only thing i get worried with sometimes is the charger seems to get stuck in the box and i got to force it out sometimes. its a little scary but sounds good
Great review! However, I've noticed a very significant audio profile change around 1:25 and again at 4:22. Would you be able to elaborate on that a bit. I'm just wondering if the mic units were shifting from what appears to be cardioid pattern to omnidirectional pattern during your recording.
Thanks! That change is audio happens when I open the case. I don't think I had the other mic powered off and when I opened the case, it connected to the receiver and added to the audio feed. So that is a signal from both mics at the same time. Hope that helps!
Fairly good audio for an affordable dual lav system; with some noticeable hiss when listed to on my monitor speaks... Camera input mic level a little high maybe causing hiss?
it's good that the receiver now has some allowance space for phone casing when it's connected to the lightning port. the comica boomx-d has had complaints that it cant fit when used with phone case. i'm looking for vdlive10 Mi to be used for iphone like the one in your video but i cant seem to find it anywhere online to buy.. if you know where i can purchase it, would be appreciated if you can point me to it. the amazon link you provided points to the USB C port version and furthermore it's not current available. thanks for the video
thank you for your feedback. The microphone in this video is our sample, and we have made many upgrades since we officially released it. Please don't worry about the sound quality. We also update tests on our RUclips channel and social media ;)
Hello, thanks for the product review very helpful. So can this microphone be used for voice calls, live video calls, and with conference apps like Zoom and Skypes as an external microphone? most if not all external microphones for iphones such as Shure MV88 are only used for recordings whether is for video recording of vlog or just audio recordings of your music. But none of them can be used as an external microphone for simply using it as a voice microphone to make a call to someone, instead of using the built-in microphone that comes with the smart phone for better audio quality. So can this microphone be used for both; voice call and video/audio recording? if not do you have a suggestion?
Hi Ben, thank you for your feedback. Any suggestions can be sent to us via email. What Comica can do is to continuously make the products more satisfactory.
@@ComicaAudio feedback here is that voice clarity is not good. While I'm sure your price point is significantly lower than Shure or even Rode, the sound quality is bad enough where I would never use these for a project (nor on a business call where I use my Yeti Blue). I'm not sure if your issue is in transmission or the mic module or both, but the sound is not high quality. This does sound much better than the UHF products available on Amazon for about $30.
@@xuxu-bt7of while I'm sure this is true, the audio quality here is bad enough where I wouldn't buy these at any price. I don't want to be so negative, but these really do not sound good.
@@BenBaranovsky Hi Ben, thank you for your feedback. The microphone in the video is our sample, and we have made many upgrades. This microphone also has other features such as its wide compatibility, Simplex / Duplex Transmission, Support Two-way Monitoring and Interaction and so on.
Thank you sir for wonderful review, Please add sound quality test samples under different conditions ( outside/inside)
Wonderful review! I saw that the design of this charging case is very exquisite so that it is very convenient to carry and use when going out.

This microphone is very cost-effective, I want to recommend it to my friend
can i be that friend?

How do you think this compares to the DJI mic?
it has a odd fuzzy sound to it, is it me ?
There's a lot of static? Do you think it's because of the boost you were talking about?

Thanks for sharing! VDLive10 can be used for all the scenarios you mentioned.
How does it work?

These sound horrible! Much better off with a mic from a respected (and good sounding) brand.

Every big brand starts from a small business.
And I think this microphone sounds good, and the price is very affordable compared to other brands.
