    Thank you for very helpful and informative guide. Question - I have an AO texture map which is exported from Substance Painter. How can I apply this Ambient Occlusion texture map for a custom texture in Vray? (coming from a pbr workflow in unreal engine/substance painter).

      Hi Travis, yes I should be able to do this in the future however the process is very similar to what is shown in this video but with timber textures

    niceeee .... would it be possible somewhen to make a video on taxture mapping / mapping channels (the use of one or two channels) / placement etc. for more difficult objects, where you actually make the exact placement in rhino and the treatment after that of that material should it be in vray or rhino ?! if we have objects that are made of plywood, the have different materials on each side, or if we have organic objects, the texture should follow the curves .. etc. ... thx

    Hi, what version of vRay is this ? I can't seem to find some of the drop down menus, like the displacement map and such.

      Hi Francesca, in some of the newer versions of VRay the location of these options has changed and they have hidden some of the options under the 'advanced' menus. There is usually a button in the top right of the asset editor that allows you to switch to advance settings so you can see these options

      I found it by mistake
      When you are in the frame buffer click on display correction layer then click on create a new layer they will give you all the options the choose what you want
