Jace amaro got injured to much in the NFL to do anything but look up his college stats and see how hard he got screwed for the tight end award because he had more yards than the other two finalists combined

I think a potentially cool idea for one of these tournaments is to have the teams within each state play each other to determine who represents that state and then have the state representative play against each other to decide the best state in football.
The last Johny Manziel TD was eeriely like the Vince Young TD.
it might be alot of work, but doing a full playoff like this with an all-star roster for every team from all eras would be amazing. ie; for oklahoma state: barry sanders, thurman thomas, justin blackmon, dez bryant, tay martin, james washington, brandon weeden, mason rudolph, tyreek hill

Funny how you bring up Gardener rocking the number 98. He was literally just talking about how funny it was to see Teddy Bridgewater wear number 50 in a Lions jersey, this last weekend during the preseason game (Gardener commentates Lions games on the team's channel). He said "Ew, who would ever think of wearing such a weird number as a QB?" and was totally being sarcastic haha. Don't know why DG wore 98, but I think it was just to be different.

imagine this is how it was played every year? 12 weeks of just teams fighting their way up the brackets until the national championship. That would be cool as hell!
In the pre-season that year, the preview magazines were saying that Alabama and Texas A&M might meet twice in 2013. That didn't end up happening, but their regular season game was pretty entertaining. Manziel put up similar numbers to what he did in this championship game, but Bama ended up winning, 49-42.
9:15 Not a Michigan fan (but a fan of weird numbers, so I am of help here), so at the time, the University of Michigan decided that, instead of retiring numbers, they would assign previously retired numbers to active players, so Devin Gardner was assigned Tom Harmon's #98 following the 2013 Michigan-Notre Dame game.
Fun fact: The original #98, Tom Harmon, is the father of actor Mark Harmon, while also being the ex-father-in-law of the guy who created the DeLorean, and the grandfather of both members of early-1990's band Nelson.

Video Idea: Put all 126 teams on a wheel, and spin it twice to get a match-up. Have those two teams play, with the loser being eliminated and the winner moving on. Spin the wheel again to get the next team. Have them play, with again the loser being eliminated and the winner moving on. This would continue until only two teams remain, who play for the championship. This adds some luck and suspense to the playoff-style videos.
Example:
- The first two rolls are Eastern Michigan and UNLV.
- They play and UNLV wins, eliminating Eastern Michigan.
- The next roll picks Auburn.
- Auburn beats UNLV, so UNLV is now eliminated.
- James Madison is picked next.
- Auburn wins, removing JMU.
- This continues until a team survives the gauntlet and only one new opponent on the wheel remains.
- You could potentially crown two champions; the team that wins the final game, and the team that survives the most rounds.
Could be a fun take on the formula!

Just a salty Michigan State fan pointing out in 2013 MSU beat Michigan 29-6, holding the Wolverines to -48 rushing yards, in the single most dominant defense performance I’ve ever seen out of my team. Went on to go 13-1, big ten champs, and finished at #3 in the polls. Damn you RNG, should’ve had a deep run from the best Michigan State team of the last 50 years.

That championship game was rather impressive. After watching Bama and A&M play twice in person I can positively say that was how both of those games played out in real life. Not with the OT but just being a entertaining back and forth game.
