The weird white thing is a cape proxy, it is used for more even cloth simulation which is then applied to the cape itself. If you intend on using unreal cloth sim better to just leave it and hide the LOD layer in the mesh.
Hi! I am trying to work with scarlet witch imported from Fortnite. I wanna use her model as a mod for super smash bros ultimate, not sure if ur rly familiar w that scene. Anyway, her cape has a weird white thing, but I’m not sure if the same kind. It isn’t as visible and bulk as on moon knight here, but is visible in the inside, by her legs. Was wondering if u could offer any insight ab that

Everytime I select import for the skin I exported, Blender crashes. Thoughts? I cannot get into HalfHeart's discord to see what any new steps or troubleshoot are. Help?
I should note I can import the moon knight skin like you. I am trying to get the Barracuda skin w no mask.

FYI: This doesnt work anymore as of right now. I get an error: "Using names for exporting is no longer supported due the discontinuation of benbot. Please type !c NAME (replacing NAME with the name of the cosmetic) in #bot-chat to retrieve the CID needed to export."
I've used the command in the channel but I don't know where to go from there - could you help a new person to Blender out?

Hey man when i try and enable the fortnite porting add on a message pops up saying "traceback error" i have no idea what to do..

Hey, I'm trying to follow this method with the Aura outfit (Winter Hunter style, although the problem happens with all three versions). When I import it, the hair from the head clips through the hat. Any idea what to do about this?
Also, what additional steps are there for a cel-shaded outfit such as Erisa?
(Apologies if you received this comment on the Ch3S2 vid first, I commented it on the wrong vid since I had both open lol)
For the extra hair clipping through, go into edit mode by pressing TAB on your keyboard while having the hair's mesh selected. Then press L on your keyboard which will select the entire hair group. After that press X on your keyboard to delete the vertices.
For cel-shading, FortnitePorting doesn't have a way to do it yet and it will require me to make a separate tutorial which I plan on making next.
will this work for things other than skins? i want to get the 3d models for the coral buddies so i can 3d print them

The text is different depending on the computer, click the path bar on the top of File Explorer then do CTRL + C

When I go to exports after importing something there is no .json files in there. Followed step by step but moon knight is not in the exports folder @ 3:17
dont use blender a lot so could be my fault but when i imported the zenith skin most of his body was green, i tried for a bit to fix it but cant find anything, i also did jonesy to just try to see if i did something wrong but then some of him was blue, not sure what is causing this or maybe i just did something wrong but some help would be nice 🙂

No unfortunately not yet. But! There does seem to be an update coming with gradient skins which are a lot more complex

You need to get CID from the discord server on the botchat (the one you join to download) Im trying to figure it out still but ive seen others who have done it i just dunno what code I need that it wants lol
Ok pretty easy to a degree (Ive yet to bother with finding one but im sure some one has posted it in the bot chat)
When you go into the botchat you might see like some posts with a character and some info about it, where it says ID, you copy and paste that into the export name part.

Technically it doesn't work on every skin (the complex ones) but it does work on skins you don't have

Maybe your keybinds are somehow changed? I'd check Blender's preferences and see what N is bound to.

Yes! Using the emission texture, you can plug that into the shader and turn up the emission strength. You might want to follow one of my manual porting videos instead of this one or else what I just said might not make sense.

You probably need to turn up the emission yourself in the shader editor

the addon didn't work for me. I did everything. I went back in the video so many times to see what i did wrong. Please can you find a different way how to port skins.

Great Tutorial, but it is asking me for a main key and it didnt auto fill like yours did. What can I do about this?
Currently we don't have the new AES key so you need to follow the instructions in Half's Discord
@@KoleHoenicke So I looked in the discord and it said to put 0x00000... into the main key and I did but it failed to export every time.
I need a bit of help. I extracted all of the file but when I checked the the file there was no addons in it.

One question though, one character doesn't work for me, Erisa just comes through totally White, I can see the textures are there, but they don't show on the model in any view, are you able to help me?

Erisa is a cel-shaded skin which FortnitePorting doesn't have the ability to do.

I did however join your discord and someone had already managed to port it somehow, minus the bones but I can make it work! I have now managed to play as Tsuki 2.0 in beat saber and that's not something I thought I would ever say XD. Working on her expressions now. Really appreciate this video, thank you again!
