Yep, doesn’t matter where you install it and you don’t technically need the entire game, just the pak files

Use FortnitePorting for anything Fortnite and Blender related.

That’s probably because it’s not a model or some different file format. If you’re still using FModel for Fortnite, I recommend switching to FortnitePorting, I have a couple tutorials on it!

By default, the NPCs shouldn’t move on their own. If you’re talking about rotation you can set a manual rotation degree so they don’t look around.

to add I have the same export settings except the option to auto export animations -- this option no longer exists in fmodel so perhaps its called something else?

Have you tried using FortnitePorting? I have a couple videos on it. It’s an all in one, one click software that lets you port pretty much any skin, item or object into Blender instantly including emotes!

Double check the versions for Minecraft, Fabric, and all your mods.

Double check your mod version, Forge version as well as your Minecraft version. This error happens when there’s some kind of incompatibility.

Oh and yeah, I was most nervous about deformation tools (liquify filter) and layer styles. Both are good in Affinity!

That’s a great deal and you definitely made the right choice. When Affinity 2 came out, they gave me a great deal to upgrade all 3 of their original apps to the V2 for a super low price. It’s so easy to get used to since the layout is almost identical and being able to open and create PSDs with it makes it even better. Sooooo worth it!

If one isn’t there already for some reason, you can actually just create one yourself and call it “mods”.

You’re completely right, but remember this is a design related video being posted on a design channel. Me and most of my viewers don’t need things like quests and paths for them to follow and all that. My viewers know me as a thumbnail designer so this is video is for them. That’s why I didn’t say that this is a straight up better mod. It’s better at the one thing it’s made to do; thumbnail design.

I get that, I’ve tried doing it in Blender, Cinema 4D, and even Mineimator but my issue was I was never able to get the lighting to match vanilla Minecraft and then it ended up looking fake

Yes, I have a Windows computer and MacBook Pro and I find it a lot easier to record and edit on the Mac so it just makes more sense more to use it for videos.
