Normal People: Are insects dying out?
TierZoo, an intellectual: Are Insects Getting Banned?
Honestly, all those endangered builds just have to learn how to get domesticated by humans and they will have no problem.
@@malte291 honeybees aren't getting enough protection from humans though.
@@malte291 I prefer the term "game-ended"
Me AndMeToo Specifically, the issue is that insects are usually much more spread out than humans can really domesticate with. Parasitic builds targeting these insects are massively buffed if humans try to domesticate them, as contact between both solitary insects and colonies is vastly more likely, giving an absurdly easy disease vector.
CCD is actually simply a viral infection spread by the parasitic Varroa mite (and possibly some fungal infections), but because of the the close proximity we keep colonies to each other, it has spread horrifically fast.

To be fair, much of this is just changed to the meta,
But the Devs have been really lackadaisical when it comes to calling out the humans for code injection for their crops.

@@jaschabull2365 Excusemewhat? Sea wasps?????
I’m surprised that ya never mentioned the Moth. Its’ gameplay is similar to the butterfly except playing more at nighttime rather then day. Moths are best suited to use the natural light brought by moon as a waypoint. Unfortunately, there is an odd bug in Moth gameplay brought by humans creating LÄMP which causes their minimap to glitch so they spend more and more time camping around LÄMP.
Unfortunately LÄMP does cause the bitter end of many moth players. They are easily picked off by predators, or injure themselves bashing against the light, mistaking it for the sun. Some have adapted and changed their strategies to avoid light instead, but this means in cities might plants are pollinated less so the server as a whole does worse with less plants.
I think you are a little mistaken, probably read some shoddy lepidopteran strategy guide that uses their outdated paraphyletic grouping, there's a surprisingly large number of them and no one is doing anything to stop their production. Anyways, butterflies are considered to be a specialized sub-group of moths, most likely a superfamily, in the same way as plume moths and bombycidae, so gameplay is expected to be more than similar (and by that I mean that they will share every basic trait moths have, and more or less could be considered a moth). Meanwhile, moth gameplay is extremely variable; as for active times, there's of course nocturnal ones like saturniids and geometer moths, but there's also numerous diurnal ones like fairy longhorns, metalmark moths, clearwing moths, some sphinx moths, and the most famous one, butterflies. The LÄMP glitch usually only works on the nocturnal moths of course, considering that they need to be awake at night for it to work, but fortunately some humans go out of their way to prevent that by using warmer colored lights which insects are far less attracted to (they'll still gravitate towards it, but can easily escape when they need to).

I hate those stupid trolls. Nerf their intimidation and get rid of the flight! Sakuri please nerd
You can thank Human mains for that. Roaches Thrive in Man Made Biomes and it is thanks to Humans they spread so widely. Cockroaches are some of the most adaptive and versatile builds in the game, and with the current meta favouring Generalists more and more, no wonder why they are doing so well.
There are other builds that benefit from this: Rats, Flies, Ants, etc. Rats in particular benefit from City Biom, as they have a very safe Habitat with little to no predators, huge source of XP in the form of various trash and Human Mains Stockpiles of food. Rats are intelligent, strong and live in a complex social structure that furthermore increases the livelihood of individual rat player and chances of survival of the build.
@Hernando Malinche don't question your own blood Hernando
I actually find it kind of hilarious how easily most of my fellow human mains get bodied by wasps. There is such a simple counterplay startegie that most of them, despite having the highest intelligence stat in outside, just don't seem to be able to utilize.
But don't worry my fellows, I won't leave you hanging! The ideal way to counterplay wasps is: ignoring them.
Their low intelligence means that in most of the cases in which they raid picnics and other human feasts, they are not even aware of the fact that it belongs to us, so they see no reason to fight over loot that they consider free for the taking. My advice is to let them have their fill. Sacrificing a small part of your loot is a small price to pay to avoid getting stung. When the mentioned startegie fails, you can still run, but with a few notable exceptions, wasps are surprisingly chill when not provoked.
And to those of you who were unlucky enough to disturb a wasp player base I have two things to say: I feel ya' and tough luck.
I was unlucky enough to disturb 2 wasp players in 2 MONTHS.

I’ve been trying to increase my resistance to the intimidation effects that insects have on humans and I’m proud to say that for the most part I’ve increased my resistance level to “immune” except when it comes to silverfish and cockroach players, for some reason my immunity just doesn’t work against their intimidation effects and they still make my skin crawl. I’m pretty close to resisting silverfish but cockroach players still have the advantage over me in that regard. Human player btw.

Tierzoo's channel is one of the main reasons i sometimes think life is a simulation
Insects, especially the cockroach builds, have a huge intimidation bonus against humans. They are also well suited to traversing human built terrains such as sewerage. This makes them just as effective as rats in the human meta, and possibly more difficult to deal with as a city-based human player.
However, they pose a much smaller threat to rural based, survivalist builds, or just human builds with very high resolve.
Human mains don't even need high resolve, they just need to interact with insect mains from a low level into adult levels to prevent the fear debuff from appearing.
The phrase "Landfill biome" really makes you think.

I've got a feeling that roaches and yellow jackets got buffed in an attempt to nerf the human class in some sneaky backwards way, since humans are resistant to most direct dev patches. Maybe it's the dev's way of telling those players to chill and quit ruining other classes' spawn biomes.
Another potential reason is that there is a new balance patch planned similar to older significant ones like the great dying, most likely to nerf humans, but as a result will nerf many other species as well. Cockroaches specifically have high resistance perks to many elements, specifically radiation, if there's a nuclear war balance patch released ever, the cockroach mains will have an easy time adapting to newly created harsh environments. As for the Yellowjackets, they could survive in the areas that aren't affected by a potential nuclear war patch to try and spread plants with their ability to pollenate like most bees and as they'd spread, both the descendants of the yellowjackets and the plants being spread would be able to put points into the radiation resistance perk as the game slowly repopulates.
Nah its an indirect buff because roaches and wasps gain xp from the unwanted resources discarded by the human class. Thats why they always populate the servers that human players go to. So as the human class keeps discarding those resources it will make it much easier for new wasp and roach players to level up.
The human reign must come to an end. We mantis mains want our forest biomes back...

No. That player has as much right to be there as you have. If you want them to leave, catch them with a glass, bring them outside and politely ask them to set up their base somewhere else.
Or kill them for xp, although is will be hard
My guess is that DoaA is a human main. Killing them for XP is considered anti-social behaviour and gross in most human players groups. Do not recommend. Humans have access to much better sources of XP.
The cheese way is to go to the cash shop or find another player that will lend/give you the "indoor bug zapper" room decoration. Turn off all your lamps, torches and campfires and reduce the ambient light. Then just log out and let the decoration collect XP for you while you are off line.

Please talk about the CRISPr exploit! Not many people know about it but some players are apparently finding ways to inject scripts into the game and gain extra evolution points!
JCON what?
Is this cheating or an exploit?
@@scyobiempire4450 data miners have found vulnerabilities in the code that determines expressed alleles in top tier builds like humans and they might start cheesing longer game time and higher base stats out of it
@SatanicBeige [SB] it does require Tool Assisted manipulation of the underlying systems in the game though. It's not something you could just discover through gameplay
It’s honestly not that much of a game changer yet, crispr is a tool, and we still haven’t fully figured out the source code yet, so it’s like giving a man a tool box and telling him to fix an aircraft carrier.
"Wildlife photographers"
I assume you mean you got screenshots from some human mains?
Wildlife photographers are ppl hired by other human mains or people like tierzoo. But that is what he did so yeah.

“Ah, I see you’re a man of culture as well”
Problem with the bugg class is that they are weak to the book item, one hit with it is often a 1-shot.
I worry humans are starting to lean towards pay to win.
That started with the Agricultural Revolution. But the Singularity Patch can be earned with enough Technology upgrades.
lol..."starting"
You know its fucked up when they can literally reverse the new update
@@14thbattlegroupcommander To be fair, they did cause it.
Actually, that's been on the decline for the last thousand years or so. Don't get me wrong, human mains still engage in an unsettling number of microtransactions, but most of them are largely aesthetic and/or social. The percentage and average value of human-main microtransactions that go toward anything that grants actual XP is much lower today than even 100 game years ago.

insect memes! I'm lovin it!
TierZoo: "Wasps and cockroaches are getting buffed."
Every normal person: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Me: Take that, you stupid entomophobs!
I'm a human main and I am very worried about our effect on the world. We might accidentally fuck up the game way too much to were it may become unplayable.
This disappoints me as a former Dragonfly main, I had to quit millions of patches ago, due to the decrease of the oxygen resource (YEAH THANKS DEVS) completely nerfed Dragonflies to their smaller size, sure, I main Human now, but I still get annoyed seeing my dragonfly bois nerfed AGAIN!
The Devs have some kind of vendetta against big insect builds, obviously.
Damn bro good thing i mained red panda

I would be interested in a bee/wasp tier list. There are so many different variants, though I suppose the play style doesn't change all that much between them.

The theme music hits me right in the nostalgia. I forget what the name was but i had a ton of vhs tapes from them, watching animal videos in the 90s wasnt like it is today lol. It was that, whoever made Spin the globe who taught be the different levels of rainforest, discovery channel actually showed educational animal documentaries, and of course crocodile hunter and later crocodile hunter diaries. God damn i miss that shit. 90s childhood....before the world changed so much and hopes and dreams werent crushed.
I genuinely love how all of this is explained like we live in a live server MMO
"Yellow jacket populations are on the rise." "There's plenty of reason to have hope."
Those statements do not belong in the same video.
