I'm seeing a lot of people saying that White-Faced Varre doesn't come back and I'm not sure what's going on with that because he came back for me. If he doesn't come back then you'll have to wait to do things from his quest in the late game and wait for new game plus which sucks but that's how FromSoftware work I guess

@@gadjibilalov3136 i found him and he does sell it. He is part of a questline of Ranni, and he isnt officially your friend until you side with her. Maybe you have to start rannis quest first? Im not sure, I did not meet him early on. If you start Rogiers questline, he will tell you where she is later on. You can also just check Fextralife or othersites for more locations of celestial dew.
Yea I was just gonna say I used it none of the ones I killed came back like white face or Warmaster so glad I didn't kill important ones like turtle pope, or any other important npc.
Another good point to make, if you've never made it over that way on foot, when you make your way into Raya Lucaria Academy and head up the stairs that the boulder comes down once you make it in the room with a door on either side the door on the right leads to a teleporter that sends you straight to the church of vows.
Stupidest idea on FromSoftware's part to put Varre at the starting gate and have him INSULT you. My instinct was to kill him. And now he can't be reset for me either.
For anyone panicking about reaching the grind spot after killing whiteface varre - I’m not sure you can revive him (I couldn’t absolve at the church and bring him back), but there are still a couple of ways that you are able to get there (through consecrated snowfields - and being teleported by the robot in the academy)
@@randomman4628 you can't revive gostoc because he's not essential to the game. Most NPC's can't be revived because they aren't needed to progress the game.
You can get a celestial dew in ainsel river basin on a body for free, if you stick to the left side through the ant tunnels, no need to fight anything really if you just run
I'm so mad right now... Corhyn is a vital NPC that's attached to one of the many endings and you can't revive him. I didn't know it was him on the road since I didn't get a good look at him and I swing my sword at him by accident thinking he was a soldier waiting for me.
I just went to that merchant. As I was dropping down towards the ladder I heard him begging his lovely puppets to stop. When I got in he was dead and three guards were standing over his body. I got his bearing and Dolores the sleeping arrow puppet ash summons.
You can also get a celestial dew if you go down to the isolated merchant from main raya lucaria entrance, you need to go all the way and there will be a bloodhound knight guarding a celestial dew
I played a game with a merchant at the bottom of the beach at the start where I would shoot his donkey with arrows and I didn’t know he would stay mad forever
Thanks man, I needed this. As I progressed through the story I killed most of the merchants and pasive npcs and didnt know they had quest lines and stuff
@@MIILLLI I tried reviving at the church of vows.... nope. I restarted. Rip 35 hours and level 50. I found a early farm video that gives u roughly 95k runes at the start, and with previous knowledge I have beaten the first 2 bosses within 4 hours and now level 39. (Granted no exploring and rip all the graces). I'm gonna grind the farm hard without killing varre this time. I reckon you do the same, it hurt but in the long run it'll be worth I reckon. Lesson learned dont kill random npcs
so unfortunately you kill a npc they stay dead, Sellen is a exception to this case cause (sorry slight spoiler) the body in the cellar is not her real body but a projection, her real body is somewhere else so when you hit her in the cellar she is considered hostile, i saw this cause i killed bernahl for the armor he has and i cannot revive him at all
I killed Sellen like 30 minutes ago. He was un the south region, I really dont know where in the map cuz Im not at home, but she was handcuffed. Was It her real body? Or I just killed her?
@@rltinnitus that was her real body. when you do her questline she tells you her real body is kept prisoner, so yes unfortunately you killed her permanently.
Church of vows stops npc agro and does not revive npcs. Talk to the giant turtle and it’s quite clear. It works on Sellen and Ranni cause you can’t kill them they just teleport away. Only way of reviving npcs is to go to ng+

I accidentally attacked gostoc, and it killed him, i felt so guilty as he was so happy to be free, its nice to know i can revive him. I honestly didn't care about the items he sold/was involved in, i just felt so bad, especially considering his last words we're "Im free... i can do anything i want now."
Thanks i acidentally hit Seluvis and log outed Blaidd from the world, and Blaidd can still revived. Thanks again, now i can continue Ranni's Questlines!

Yeah happened with Fia after I killed her thinking I completed her quest line, now I have to new game to do it so I can beat the boss from her quest line and one other to platinum the game
Thanks!! I used this to reset Millicent hostility which breaks the quest as long as she's hostile. Now I don't know if she can be revived though so don't kill her guys

Always good to know because aggro an NPC can happen very fast - it's in every soulsgame but named different in every game. I aggroed the warmaster but decided to kill him and take his armor😜 Did you know that if you kill all the vendors across the map,you can get all of their stuff from the husks in roundtable hold? Quite comfortable to have everything at one single vendor in a save location instead of searching the right vendor everytime you need a special item. Maybe you would have a try😉

I think that you can revive sellen since that isn't her real body. I accidentally hit her real body in the ruins and she got pissed and made her clone disappear.
It’s really weird, in my first game it did, but my second playthrough I found it works but not for Varre, so at the time yes, but it might have been patched

I didn't even knew it revives npc. I killed Yura for his long ass katana in Limgrave. And in endgame in the snowy area I saw Yura again, I was like wtf! I killed him already. Then I killed him again and he dropped his Armor set. Now Im curious If Yura will drop another katana to power stance if I kill him in Limgrave twice. Imma go test that out.
That’s actually some weird frenzy spirit named sharibri or something that tells you he possessed Tyra’s dead body. I believe he’s involved in the frenzy ending.

So this doesn’t work if you kill Varre (white face). I killed him and did this and went to the church of vows with Celestial Dew and it still says “you don’t need absolution” ughhhhhh

@@aerys889 nope. Sucks. I can’t see a way to fix it honestly. I think you just have to manually make your way up there which is fairly late game

It seems like this does not work for Varre, it said that i "didn't need absolution". So i guess i fucked now because of a character insulting me and he getting bitch slapped to death in return. Only to later be thw best way to farm runes now... So now I'm stuck with Rolling-ball grind that very tedious

I didn't even knew it revives npc.
I killed Yura for his long ass katana in Limgrave. And in endgame in the snowy area I saw Yura again, I was like wtf! I killed him already.
Then I killed him again and he dropped his Armor set.
Now Im curious If Yura will drop another katana to power stance if I kill him in Limgrave twice. Imma go test that out.
That’s actually some weird frenzy spirit named sharibri or something that tells you he possessed Tyra’s dead body. I believe he’s involved in the frenzy ending.

Can Gurranq be revived? I killed him with out completing his quest line and getting all incantations and weapons

im a bit confused, it didnt work for me. i wasnt able to use the item at the church. on my playthrough i actually wasnt the one to kill him, the tree sentinile did so maybe thats why? im going to try to agro another NPC and then use it and see if it works, brb
edit: well i was able to use it, and the NPC i agro'ed came back but not whitemask, not exactly sure whats wrong

hahahaha 1:31 that's exactly the npc I killed, I used a spell wrongly and he got angry at me and i had to kill him...
It sounds like a "celestial jew" :) but thx for your video , i accedently killed an npc and i want to revive her , it was a sorceress , iced to a wall , i wanted to cut her loose and a message said to strike her once , and i did :) ... It was a lie of course :) and she aggroed and attaked me :) now she is dead :)

Does this work for the prawn guy? He was talking mad reckless and Godrick already had me seeing red and he caught me on the wrong day. But I learned he will be a NPC that sells prawns..
