A lovely atmospheric film in the depths of Autumn. Great piece of new tech. Sounds like a real help. Hope you & your family are as well as you can be. Thanks for sharing Graham.
Just out of a meeting and having a spot of lunch - perfect timing Graham! Very reassuring having your voice and wonderful uploads back, I know I'm one among many. Winter thrushes and talk of '23 means we have to sort out some winter specials soon - I'll bring the Bovril :) Lovely stuff dude. Si.
Well done Graham. Excellent Vlog as usual. Interesting footage of the top of the water tower. I’d always assumed there to be a shallow recess but there looks to be be quite a deep one. I bet a few bags of pea gravel up there would attract some breeding LRP’s or Oyk’s. See you next time.
Nice one Graham. And such an interesting film. Are the tracking results available online anywhere do you know? Will be very interesting to see the Blackcap movements! Loved the drone footage!
Thanks Dave, there will be data online when they start tagging next Autumn, I'll be doing an in depth film in the future and I'll put all the necessary links needed:-)
Interesting and enjoyable as always Graham. I'd be interested to know how you knew the three corvids were Ravens rather than Carrion Crows. I was looking for a tell-tale diamond shape as the tails half-splayed but didn't see one. I know Raven's have become more widespread in England and apparently Rainham Marshes down here in Essex has regular sightings of one or two. Thanks for a lovely film. I look forward to more on the tracking project! All the best to you and yours. Graham.
Thanks Graham, I was filming next to the ringing guys and they said they were ravens and you could hear the deep croaking call, there was a lot of talking on the camera sound so I put music and some ambient sound:-)

Lovely vlog Graham. It will be interesting next year when the Blackcaps return.
