I want to learn how to code the question into SPSS before the analysis.
Again, assuming you have two variables in your study and you measure the two variables using three indicators each.
After you must have constructed a questionnaire on each of the indicators, during the analysis if you que in the responses accordingly, I believe the output of the analysis will show only the responses how then do you summarize them to reflect only on the indicators as we normally see in research papers.
I don't know if my question is clear

Sir, I have a question if I would like to correlate the test items for two different variables. Should I get their average mean first or just correlate all the test items in Spss? I need your help 🥺.

First you will need to find out the average of items that belong to each of your constructs.
