- This tutorial explains how you can conduct a normality test using Likert Scale Data in SPSS. Normality test is important if you want to conduct parametric statistical tests/ analysis such as Regression, ANOVA test, F-test, T-test and Correlation.

It's such a great video! 👍🏼 Thank you so much for this great explanation on checking data normality. It is so helpful for my assignment! Have a great day, Dr. Okolie.🎉
Thanks for finding the video helpful. Pls, share and like the tutorial. Best wishes
factlly telling ur presentation is smart
Thank you
hi from Malaysia, u teach better cause u talk slower. teach better than my lecturer or supervisor.
Wow, thanks
In one of his tutorials, I commended him for using a special pedagogy to let anyone understand the presentations. With Dr. Okolie, I understand better than in a face-to-face class.
Dear sir,
That was an extraordinary video for beginners. The data was not normally distributed even after taking their mean values, so how to bring them into normality? Could you please help me on this sir?
Thank you for watching the video. You can try transforming the data using Log function in SPSS
Hello Dr, does the measure need to be in ordinal?
Thank you sir
Thank you too
I am doing my dissertion on satisfaction level assessment with ordinal data ( 5 point likert scale). So how can I do the following.
1. Transforming 5 point likert in to dichotomous for regression?
2. Making one variable from different item(group in to one variable)
3. Analysis methodes
if any please share video
3.
Thank you. This video will help ruclips.net/video/p4TEVkL_BMc/видео.html
sir, but your final result is still significant, how can we concluded normally distributed?
If it is significant, it's not normally distributed. Thus, you to transform the data or run a nonparametric test.
Goodevening Doc.
