With the prices of food/eating out in today's economy, you need to get the value out of what you ordered especially at a so-called, top tier, name brand, steak house such as Ruth Chris. Lobster is too high priced and a specialty item which cannot be done wrong.

We frequent there often and the waiter should have warned you the plates are extremely hot with a minimal 500 degrees in temperature when they bring them to your table. I’m disappointed with the potato’s because here in Florida the potatoes are from scratch thick chunk potato pieces smashed inside and the lobsters are always tender and amazing good. They didn’t even bag your leftovers for you. 😢

I remember I ordered a ribeye with mash potatoes. I hadn't had fine dining before so a nice steak to me was one from Wal-Mart. I was really impressed with it, but I was like I ain't paying 60$ for another steak tho. Now, I'm older and have been around and worked at some fine dining steakhouses so I would say for a chain, it's really good. The consistency is there. Just a bit pricey but what isn't nowadays.
