@@Hebiiiii1 there were some good tracks true but in comparison to prior games the music front is just lacking. The game does the champions and the divine beast battles and dark beast Ganon justice but as far as towns go only Rito Village does the best. Literally Goron Citys theme is pretty much what you'd expect from Death Mountain same can be said for Zora's domain. But Rito Village was quite unique. It wasn't a copy and paste of dragon roost island like how they did with Zora's Domain. Also Kakariko villages theme sucks. Kakariko village should have had a theme like hatenos did maybe better. Point is there ARE good tracks in botw but prior games just do the music front better.
By the time I hit this boss I had the glide armor and a bunch of heat potions. This boss for me was “I’m not trapped in here with you. YOU’RE TRAPPED IN HERE WITH ME.”
I am not based at and WW is not my favorite Zelda game. It’s theme is also a mix of Dragon Roost and Molgera. Edit: I put rito village instead of Molgera
If theres something i appreciated about this fight, it was that it actually was as easy as it was. It let me relax off excersizing actual skill and enjoy the visual spectacle of the fight.
I had the same stuff and it was still pretty hard for me I got hit a bunch by the tornados and they all did like 45 damage with my armor. I haven’t fought the lava boss yet but so far colgera has been the hardest
Ah yes, the new final boss theme is kickass. For those wondering, the any% Speedrun now clips out of bounds during the Colgera refight in the boss rush to go straight to Ganondorf and as a result, Colgera music plays in that fight.
I love how each boss theme contains their races iconic instrument, we got woodwinds for the rito, piano for zora, drum for Goron, and sitaar for gerudo

Btw by simple i'm not only implying '' easy to beat '' but also that the way to kill it was not so much relevant unlike other fights in which you had either, to break his legs or throw water at him in order to deal damages
I got chills throughout my body while I was playing when I heard dragon roost come in…even though the boss fight was easy i purposely drew it out so I could hear the music. Also it was really fun flying around with tulin just dodging colgera. Easy, but so memorable. Loved it and the ode to wind waker -and twilight princess- Edit: There wasn’t an ode to TP in the boss fight but in Wind Temple Approach ost there’s a familiar piano rhythm in the background that reminded me of Blizzeta. Just my perception, could be different tho!
@@alexs9514 it’s more of a reach from my nostalgic heart and not part of the boss fight, but the Wind Temple Approach ost has a very familiar background piano tune, it reminded me heavily of the Blizzeta Fight theme. Maybe that wasn’t the intention but I like to think it was. Made me remember TP as I went to the wind temple Edit: it might just be my perception and isn’t really an “ode” so I’ll change that lol, sorry! I just found the rhythm of it to be familiar
The snare in the background had me feeling Molgera the whole time lol. I loved it, Molgera is still my favorite boss in any Zelda game but Colgera did it justice.
It’s great how the further you progress on the fight, the more Zonai voices and artifacts you get, until you finally hear Rito Village theme in a bombastic way telling you “go on! You’re winning!”
The whole dungeon and boss was an ode to windwaker. It may be in the sky. But the wind temple is a ship! And colgera being related to molgera and this music is just... good God
@@lemapple8180 Not to mention that the dungeon ship was INSIDE a tornado. And how did you teleport around in WW? By having a tornado transport the King of Red Lions, a ship! A true love letter to Wind Waker was all this section of the game.
The first time i fought Colgera, i was amazed by the music and cinematic nature of the fight. When i encountered colgera in the depths, i immediately went to fight it again, only to realize i didnt have enough arrows. That's how i found out about diving straight into the weak points and shattering them, it was even more satisfying than just using arrows!
This song made me cry while fighting, I have never heard a battle theme this inspiring. Made me go back to my childhood beating Molgera but also made me think of Revali's theme in Hyrule warriors: Age of Calamity. While playing with a child character that was so motivated, really was everything all at once

this was my first boss in the game,and it immediately set the tone for all the bosses to come being an absolute amazing fight. i think the biggest thing they did was that they force you to use the sage abilities during the fight as a sort of final test. long live zelda.
I wish other bosses were like this. A flat arena is boring. When I opened the 5th lock and saw clouds I was like “oh shit there is going to be a massive updraft, time for a sky battle”.
I love that Colgera, the Rito temple boss, reminds me so much of my favorite Wind Waker boss, Molgera. As Rito were introduced in WW, this was a very good choice on the dev teams part.
Admittedly, not the most challenging of bosses (I’m look at you, Queen Gidbo!), but still an absolute blast! The rush of diving down through it for the first time can’t be replicated by anything else…
This boss was the second most difficult for me. Only second to the final boss. The only reason why is because I accidentally got rid of my cold resistance and had to fight him on a timer.
How the heck did you guys do that? I can understand maybe selling your equipment by accident or running out of meals, but I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get to him without a paraglider
The wind temple was by far my favorite dungeun of the game. I was in awe and amazement from the moment i started my climb up to the dungeun, then the dungeun itself was just amazing. Then i got to the boss and i was on the edge of my seat in anticipation excited to see what was going to happen, and i was blown away "pun intended". It wasnt a hard fight at all, but the aesthetics and the buildup made it such a great memorable fight that i cant wait to do again on my next playthrough
I did a mix of both things, dive bomb when needed (when I was above) and bomb arrows (when i was below). You can approach the battle however you want and that's awesome

Been playing like, 3 hours per day for this game and every single moment is really being so memorable. Yesterday finished the Wind Temple, my first one, bc I'm currently following the same route as I did in BoTW, and this theme was soooooooooooo a biggggggggg prizeee for doing it. The battle itself is not hard, it's just fun. Moving vertical around and just dodging is really really fun. Really hoping all of you keep enjoying the game, cause all the wait for these 6 years were really worth.

I LOVED the Colgera boss fight but thought it was way too easy. I didn't take any damage somehow, but I got hit by the body and it kinda just stuns you for a bit.
Colgera isnt a boss you fight to have a tough battle. Its a boss you stand in awe of both in its design and soundtrack

I had fully maxed out stamina and realized you could break the ice armor with down-thrust attacks without waiting for it to crack off.
For me, it was my first boss of the game and I didn't even have the Rito Armor, just one "heating potion". It was epic!

I dont get how everyone is able to kill Colgera by dive bombing into its ice plates when they're protected by spikes on the top half
when he does the attack where he shoots the spikes at you, you manoeuvre around them and then dive at his exposed back!
