This loss really came back to hunt the bears literally!!! I was saying to myself the bears should’ve laid them out that last game . I'm a Bears fan and even I couldn't help but laugh hysterically watching that game, it was a real comedy of errors on both sides of the ball that night 😆.
Even though I hated the Bears back then, I kind of felt bad for their fans after the 2010 season. They had a chance to eliminate Green Bay in Week 17. Only to lose then and get beat by them again in the NFC title game.
It’s sad because if the bears win this game, Packers are out . Bears probably would’ve went on the same run the Packers went on. Think back on it . Even with Cutler that defense would’ve been good enough to get them through anyone in the NFC. Look at the teams the Packers beat. besides the bears Lol!!!Eagles they were the toughest but I think the bears could’ve went through them with Michael Vick , Falcons Falcons would’ve had home field advantage but Falcons weren’t that strong I believe bears could’ve gotten through them, and Pittsburgh in the Super Bowl Big Ben would’ve been rough but maybe they win a defensive struggle. There are no “ what if’s” in life but I believe the Packers were the only team that had everything that playoffs in 2010 even with half of their team out and were trouble for the bears so it’s nice to imagine as a bears fan .
1:48:00 ... soldiers in 175 countries watching on AFN... I remember shaking my head when Joe Buck said that when I watched this game back in 2010. What are we doing here? Messed up.
Oh I remember this game. The difference between losing and winning this game was the time out that was called by Lovie Smith when the Bears got the first down before the snap Just imagine if Lovie Smith didn't call the time out, what could of happened. Maybe Bears score tie the game, go to OT and win or win on their last drive and win 13-10. Packers would of been eliminated, completely different playoffs.
I'm watching the game now and Lovie Smith calls a timeout prior to the snap. Jay Cutler completed a pass to Chester Taylor for a 1st down on 3rd & 15. This would have put the ball on the Packers 40, but they took a timeout for some unexplained reason. Like you said, it's the difference between losing and winning this game. All I can do is shake my head in disbelief.
Richard Waldrup I know. And as Bears fan, I was like dying. This why Lovie Smith does not have a super bowl and got fired two years later. Good coach up until crunch time and then makes bonehead decisions. My goodness that and the playoff game I think he the same thing as well. Not like this situation but very similar. But you got admit if Lovie Smith didn't call that timeout. The whole playoffs would be different. Giants I know would have made it instead of GB and probably been out the first week because they were struggling as of late after the New Microlands Miracle and probably would of been Philly vs Bears in the NFC championship game. Would of been big difference. And the Eagles and the Giants would faced each other again in the wild card game coming off that Miracle in the Meadowlands a few weeks ago. That would been an interesting matchup!
For all I know the Bears had 3 downs, maybe 4 to at least get in field goal position. I admitted to them being at the Packers 40, to make a point of what may have happened. Maybe Cutler blows it for the Bears and maybe he doesn't. I didn't say they would have won, had Lovie Smith not called timeout, but it hurt their chances of scoring. I'm entitled to my opinion, just like you at the end of the day. #Peace
They weren't going to win even with the timeout situation. Cutler threw a redzone pick after his defense picked off rodgers. He threw a pick late in the red zone down 10-3. Even if they scored somehow in that drive to make it 10-10, what confidence would anyone have on him leading field goal drive in ot given how he's looked ?
In Cutler's defense wtf was that guy doing at the end? He didn't even reach for the ball. Like I'm sure it was out of reach but why wouldn't you at least try and possibly distract a little for the person who can catch it?
Bears had 2 Chances to Kick the Packers and lost both. TWO! LOL They probably should have played harder in this game. Looks like Bears Coach actually said I'll be seeing you in the Playoffs. Specifically "I'll be seeing you in the NFC CONFERENCE Game"
If grandma had balls she would be grandpa and the Packers never would have won the Super Bowl 🤣🤣. But they did and beating the bears to get in and winning the NFC on their turf was icing on the cake!
16:00 I don't think that's a fumble, I need to see three to four definitive steps, for it to be a catch. As soon as he turned around it was knocked loose, never had full possession, incompletion.
The rule is that you have to simply begin to turn up field. That's it. It has nothing to do with how many steps you make. It was a catch and it's not even close. He did more than what was required... he turn and began running.
Even as a Bears fan (and knowing what it eventually led to), this was still one of my favorite Bears-Packers games ever. Just an incredibly fun and important game. I hope to see more of these in the future.

Green Bay played this game as if they needed this and they did
The winner of this game would have won the Super Bowl.
Facts bears or packers
Super Bowl Champs that year baby, WOO!!! GO PACK GO!!!
Man that was a tough bears D. Rodgers was legit struggling against them
Anyone else notice all the games played were Divisional Games?

I know I've said this a thousand times, but is there anyway you can post the Sunday Night Massacre? Week 10 2014 Bears @ Packers, Packers win 55-14. Funniest game EVER! Between the aftermath, my online buddies and their jokes, the Bears performance, it was side hurting inducing! I still watch the highlights to this day.
frenchfrey65 know what’s funny too? Bears beating the packers to be crowned NFC north champs, want to know what else is funny? Mack and Floyd fucking up Rodgers for the remaining of his career.
@@Chicago15BG You want to know what else is funny? Mack and Floyd didn't do shit this year.
@@Chicago15BG know what's funny Trubisky and you're dumbass trade up for him, poverty franchise 🤣🤣🤣

Let me guess, a bears fan right?
I'm a Bears fan and even I couldn't help but laugh hysterically watching that game, it was a real comedy of errors on both sides of the ball that night 😆.
Had the Bears won GB would have been eliminated from the playoffs
yeah but then the bears might've had to go on the road to Atlanta. Lots of what if's.
@@TheAireaidLord noo the bears were solid 2nd seed if they lost or won either way they said that in the beginning of the game lol
@@Trick.Ricky.Sternn ok but they still would've had a road game at atlanta if GB wasn't in the playoffs
@@TheAireaidLord would have rather taken my chances against Atlanta in Atlanta than a hot Packers team in Chicago, that loss still hurts

5:29 they been doing rpos for years
Even though I hated the Bears back then, I kind of felt bad for their fans after the 2010 season. They had a chance to eliminate Green Bay in Week 17. Only to lose then and get beat by them again in the NFC title game.
Phinal Flash And then the Packers went on to win the Super Bowl that season. Talk about a really bad taste in the mouth for Bears fans xD
As a Packers fan that season every team feared the Packers an didmt want to see them in the playoffs with good reason
Whose here after Last night 10 to 3 game

2:05:26. That's Cutler for you. A good QB hits him in stride.
The offense struggled in th is game and the NFC title game. So glad they won though.
Messed up.
Aye you got weeks 14 and 15 from this Green Bay season?
Who’s here in the 2023 season after the Packers beat the Bears to reach the playoffs?
The Giants would've made the playoffs if the Bears won. The Giants were playing in D.C. and after this game the D.C. crowd chanted "Green Bay won".
Actually, had the Calvin Johnson catch been ruled a touchdown in week one, the Giants would've made the playoffs.
Bulaga is wearing hall of famer forest gregg's number . #75
This game was such a disappointment because the Bears offense couldn't do ANYTHING.
a quick look for history sake but not watching. last game vs sf nfl champ game is on my mind and surely the coaching/office staff.
Joe Buck seal of approval for Bob's Burgers ffs
If the Bears won. How does that change the NFC playoff picture?
Thomas J Collins Yeah and I think Pittsburgh would of won there 7th super bowl I believe. They would of been the best team in the playoffs.
The Giants would've gotten in, and maybe Eli would've won a year earlier. Who knows?
If the bears would have won the Pittsburgh Steelers might have been super bowl Champions
Jay cutler failed us giants fans
In Cutler's defense wtf was that guy doing at the end? He didn't even reach for the ball. Like I'm sure it was out of reach but why wouldn't you at least try and possibly distract a little for the person who can catch it?
That guy was Devin Hester
We won the Super Bowl that year because Jay Cutler sucks lol. Thank you Jay.
Bears had 2 Chances to Kick the Packers and lost both. TWO! LOL They probably should have played harder in this game. Looks like Bears Coach actually said I'll be seeing you in the Playoffs. Specifically "I'll be seeing you in the NFC CONFERENCE Game"
Where is the pats packers 2010 game that you said me , you gonna upload ???

Never have two people talked so much and said so little.
Great Game!!!
I blame jay cutler strictly
If grandma had balls she would be grandpa and the Packers never would have won the Super Bowl 🤣🤣. But they did and beating the bears to get in and winning the NFC on their turf was icing on the cake!
Low scoring when our defense was good
GO PACK GO
This a divisional hard physical game, ugly but good to watch.

Who’s more boring Jim Nantz and Phil Simms or Joe Buck and Troy Aikman lol
Buck for sure and Aikman is arrogant.
Bears were the worst 11-4 team ever. Jay Cutler? GTFOH.

Back when the bears would be periodically competitive with the Packers. They’ve regressed so much since. Bears Packers games are an absolute joke now.
yup. and now they're headed for another rebuild & restructure. Here we go again type shit. FML as a bears fan!
I'm glad that didn't happen
16:00 I don't think that's a fumble, I need to see three to four definitive steps, for it to be a catch. As soon as he turned around it was knocked loose, never had full possession, incompletion.
The rule is that you have to simply begin to turn up field. That's it. It has nothing to do with how many steps you make. It was a catch and it's not even close. He did more than what was required... he turn and began running.
Packers 1st and goal at the 1 and only 3 points. Stupid ass play calling by McCarthy.
Packes is my team.
Holy shit Cutler was bad
