This game is what broke my heart to when I saw it. This is the year I became an Eagles fan. I was in middle school that year. 7th grade. I had just started watch football and I remembered Mike Vick. The fact that the Eagles took him in and gave him a chance was great. And the comeback game against the Giants solidified my love and respect for the team. To this day, I respect but despise the Packers since they went on to win it all this year. But looking back on it, this game was great. A classic to me now.
I had been a die hard packer fan since I was 9, 10 years old so around 99/2000, I remember this playoff run and feeling so confident in Rodgers. Funny thing happened though, my interest in football and sports in general diminished the next season and ever since lol. It was like I saw the mountain top and I don’t really need to see it again type of feeling.

Most of the teams that had to win 4 games to win the Super Bowl had a fairly easy win in their first playoff game - the 2010 Packers are unique in that their first playoff game was the only one they were truly in imminent danger of losing.
Vick didn't need to go for the TD there, they were doing just fine on short passes. He got greedy. The Packers demolished the Falcons in the next round, but barely beat the Bears on a closing INT, when again the QB got greedy.

I thought we outplayed Atlanta all over the field but Vick just overcame everything, including the fact the Packers had never lost at home in the playoffs before.
And James Jones didn’t drop a TD it wouldn’t have mattered. Should coulda woulda. Just like the Saints whiners who overlook the fact that the refs blew a roughing the passer call against the Rams that setup a Saints scoring drive
what Aaron Rodgers does the following week in Atlanta is pure NFL lore . THis was the year we all knew that Aaron Rodgers was the best player in the league . News flash ...HE STILL IS ! !!
After watching this game back again, it seemed like Philly did everything to let Green Bay win: Mikell not recovering the fumble that was literally in his lap, Akers leaving points on the field, and poor short yardage play calls by Reid.
Andy Reid was the reason they were in this game honestly. He takes a ton of shit but execution was the reason they lost. Horrific tackling, missed FG’s, stepping OOB on 2 pt, and overthrows.
Bottom line "it doesn't matter anymore". Packers here deserved to win, and did. End of story. Packers win. See ya next time Eagles. BTW, did you know Phily has 1.5 million population and Green Bay about 100,000 or 1/15th the size of Philly. Either Philly should be embarrassed or Green Bay should be proud as hell. I say both, especially after G.B. defeated them and has had a sell out full house of 60-80,000 fans for going on 60 years. Philly, when you were a poor team
CooLMar Owenz this game is not all Vick’s fault, David Akers missed 2 easy field goals and had he not missed one of them the Eagles would’ve been down 21-19 and would’ve only needed a field goal to win 22-21, and Vick would’ve played the Bears had he won this game and I don’t think he would’ve beaten them in Soldier Field in cold weather

2010 Packers are unusual in the Rodgers era. 10th most points scored, 2nd Fewest Points allowed is the resume of a typical SB champ; Great D and good enough Off, capable of heroics but more then happy to win 21-10. How does Rodgers get an 8.3 Yard Per Attempt, #2 on the season behind Rivers absurd 8.7 YPA; and score 7 or less points against Bills cowboys jets AND vikings?! If I was a packer fan I'd rewatch all 4 and rewind but Im not. For me classic Giants get that kind of time investment a decade later.
Rodgers had an absurd stat line early on: Through 2011 he had NEVER won a game in which they lost a lead in the 4th. No Comebacks. It doesn't matter when the D was that good, but in 2011 he really fucked it up on film at home, MVP season 15-1 against the 9-7 Giants. Well, the 19th or worse fewest points don't normally win much in the postseason; outside of 06 Manning. Then he became Captain Comeback and we forgot all that.
Vick vs aaron Rodgers. Once again 2 of my favorites. We all love vick but aaron Rodgers with a team that doesn't give up so many points and could block would have prob been the greatest qb
it was definitely a special year as a Packers fan. The only other time I remember them winning it all with Favre they had 1 offense and defense that year. Maybe only Patriots pulled that off with those stats with Brady.

@@chriskay1449 packers were better that day. I was amazed how good rodgers was but I don’t think you would of seen a rout. Eagles were moving the ball all day. They outgained the pack and Akers missed two makeable field goals.
Do you have the Divisional game against Atlanta from the Super Bowl run? That was my all time favorite Rodgers performance. He was a wizard that night.
Green Bay was so lucky to win this. For some reason they decided that Starks was their superstar, and went to well way too many times in the second half. Did McCarthy forget how to run play action? Weird game that the Packers should have dominated.
Crazy to think that the Packers who won the Super bowl could have very well lost if David Akers made field goals which he usually made in his sleep. He blamed on his mom passing and I don’t blame him but it’s crazy to think about.
Andy reed is great offense head coach. it doesn't matter what qb he has, reed turn qb's and having their best season in their career. like Vick and Alex smith. I really believe if Mahomes didn't have Reed he wouldn't be as good as he is now.
Hey, I have a request for some game uploads, if you can. Can you upload 2009, 49ers VS Vikings, and 2010 Chargers VS Colts? Also how about the 2013 Rams VS Panthers? Those are some of my family's favorite games! We'd appreciate it if you upload it!
The Eagles final playoff game of the Andy Reid era, Reid gets fired after the 2012 season and goes on to coach the Chiefs and finally wins a Super Bowl, Eagles eventually hire Doug Peterson an Andy Reid disciple and finally win a Super Bowl, in the end they both prospered after going their separate ways, hope Eagles fans can look back and appreciate Reid even if he couldn’t get them to the promise land
Green Bay won the Super Bowl this season. I believe this wild card game against the Eagles was the closest playoff game score point wise for the Packers against any opponent in their 4 playoff games. Just think how close it was for the Packers season to end right there instead of winning the Super Bowl....an interception in the end zone with 30 seconds left ended the season for the Eagles.
Bad pass by Vick. Although there was clearly illegal contact by the db. But the nfl is so inconsistently called you never can count on anything. You can’t throw that ball like that. You have to put it up high and let your big wideout a chance to go get it. Not low. That was the easiest INt in that dBs career. Vick always did this in big games. Not clutch. Dangerous throughout the game for sure. But when it’s tight there’s a lot of other guys you’d rather have under center.
The ironic thing is if Vick doesn’t have the miracle comeback against the giants this yr in the regular season the packers don’t even make the playoffs this yr. then they beat them here. Rodgers could have 0 sbs

Back when the Packers coaches were being picked by teams everywhere. Andy Reid, Doug Pederson, etc were exceptionally good coaches. Along with also having some of the best backup QB's in the NFL. Matt Flynn who torched the Lions for 6 TD's in the last game of the year. Sadly they blew up in the playoffs that year, but we had some amazingly fun games, and some incredible plays, and players! The punt where he got blocked into it and called it a first down for the eagles was possibly the worst call of that year
If I remember correctly if the Eagles kicker didn't miss so many field goals the Eagles would have won this game
And James Jones didn’t drop a TD it wouldn’t have mattered. Should coulda woulda. Just like the Saints whiners who overlook the fact that the refs blew a roughing the passer call against the Rams that setup a Saints scoring drive
@@strat1080 yup eagles got so lucky this game was as close as it was
That's called "static analysis".
what Aaron Rodgers does the following week in Atlanta is pure NFL lore . THis was the year we all knew that Aaron Rodgers was the best player in the league . News flash ...HE STILL IS ! !!
Tom Brady holding on line 1 for you....
Eagles had a really good team that year
Bottom line "it doesn't matter anymore". Packers here deserved to win, and did. End of story. Packers win. See ya next time Eagles. BTW, did you know Phily has 1.5 million
population and Green Bay about 100,000 or 1/15th the size of Philly. Either Philly should be embarrassed or Green Bay should be proud as hell. I say both, especially after G.B. defeated them and has had a sell out full house of 60-80,000 fans for going on 60 years.
Philly, when you were a poor team
@@bft284 I agree buddy . I'm a packer fan too I was just saying they had a team that year it was a great game.

I Was Sick When I First Watched This Game In Philly🤦🏽♂️ I Wanted To See Vick Play Against The Falcons In The Playoffs
@@matthewjoseph236 Lmfao I Never Said It Was Vick's Fault I Said I Wanted To See Vick Play Against The Falcons In The Playoffs You Misread What I Wrote
@@michaeliverson5789 Seeing Vick play his former team would have been unique. BUT being a Packers fan, this #6 seed Packers team was pretty damn anazing. I get your thought. Vick goes "home" sort of thing.
@@EdsterIII Yeah That's How I Was Looking At It At The Time But The Packers Own That Year Tho
At 41:08, I don’t know why that play still bothers me to this day, Quinten Mikell has the ball in his hands and was so non chalant and let Kuhn steal the ball from him and that could have changed the complexion of that game, honestly have no idea what Mikell was thinking there 🤦🏻♂️
I skipped half of the video to see this part wow!!! lol im confused as well because it looks as if he clearly sees the ball and decides not to cradle the football.
AOD Vision, I attended that game so I didn’t see the national broadcast till later and there are a handful of plays that I can’t get over, the announcers don’t comment on it, no media members at the time commented on it, it’s one of the oddest and frustrating plays I’ve ever watched
Strangely enough I don't think he knew that the ball was sitting directly in his lap. That's why it looks like he confusingly looking around. Idk how the hell he wouldn't know, but not sure what else he could have been thinking lol
@@fefonrtv7730 yes i replayed it in 0.75 speed this was odd because hes right there in front of the player who fumbled and his head is basically down while he's making the play it's odd the announcers didn't say anything on this lol
@@Manwitdamoustache lmbo im really confused as well i replayed it in 0.75 speed and its near darn impossible to miss that lol espcially if im making the tackle on the guy whom fumbled straight on.
Thanks for the classic uploads.
Thanks
The Last top 10 defense for Rodgers/Packers era.
This season but he choked like usual
@Steve Walsh Stop making excuses for him

Nick Collins who suffered a career ending injury the following year was a big loss.
Vick vs aaron Rodgers. Once again 2 of my favorites. We all love vick but aaron Rodgers with a team that doesn't give up so many points and could block would have prob been the greatest qb
Dam Kobe sent Vick a jersey!!! RIP to a great one
One scumbag to another
Damn totally forgot that year philly lost:(
The fact that the full game is posted makes me cringe. I just can’t watch it, what could’ve been...
I always thought Jeremy Maclin was very underrated.
And jason avant too bro
I knew after the Packers won this game, they were going to win the SuperBowl
it was definitely a special year as a Packers fan. The only other time I remember them winning it all with Favre they had 1 offense and defense that year. Maybe only Patriots pulled that off with those stats with Brady.
I knew after we lost to NE the ame before Rodgers cam back from concussion. We almost beat the Patriots with Matt Flynn and we just had that special feeling. I remember telling people mark my words the Packers win it all
the good old times when rodgers and mccarthy were on the same page
2:16:30 With the exception of the Ravens-Chiefs game, this was definitely one of the most exciting Wild Card Weekends I have ever seen.
Not the 2010 ravens chiefs?
@@erics2739 It was the only game of that weekend that resulted in a blowout compared to the other three. Though as a Chargers fan, I was very happy to see Baltimore blowout KC.
@@angelenriqu1 the chargers should’ve been there over the chiefs smh
@@mariosnum1fan horrible special teams, and inconsistency killed the Chargers that year.
@@angelenriqu1yeah I’m still stunned how a 32nd ranked special teams kills the team for making the playoffs. And then that same year raiders swept the division, don’t even sniff a wild card berth. Crazy!
I was at this game. I distinctly remember the play at 2:14:20. If Jackson had beat that guy at the 40 he would of taken it to the house. The remaining guy was flat footed with a blocker on him.
Man I'm jealous you were at this one. I love these kind of games. Enough offense to make it exciting, but some really nasty playoff defense going on, too. This was classic NFL playoffs. Even though the Eagles lost, you still gotta appreciate the game you saw.
If Jones hadn't dropped a pass in the 3rd Quarter, he would have scored a TD and the rout would have been on.
He was a wizard that night.
yep, i had it up but it was taken down by youtube, so i posted it to another site: www.bitchute.com/video/JhQAtLdByG4R/

You the G.O.A.T.
Green Bay was so lucky to win this. For some reason they decided that Starks was their superstar, and went to well way too many times in the second half. Did McCarthy forget how to run play action? Weird game that the Packers should have dominated.
I think Roger's is the only one who can truly rock a turtleneck
He also rocked that ass kicking he received from the bears yesterday
@@rcracer8872 nice wild card
They played great we just need a better kicker
am glad packers won and made it too the super bowl go packers
We'd appreciate it if you upload it!
the eagles heading to the playoffs losing 2 games since that miracle at the new meadowlands win
I miss the roar of the crowds Mann
That failed two-point conversion by the Eagles was a disaster, along with the two missed field goals. It changed the whole game.
What happened to GB the next year? They r better suited as the underdog than being the top seed.
It's true, always said it, we perform better as underdogs, it's in the Packers DNA.
6:00 lmfao he was certainly held into the ball shouldve been flag
Man, Akers missing all of those field goals killed me
Joe and Troy are In a relationship look how they look at each other 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t know why Vick threw that ball he had mac in the middle
37:20 I love watching Vick get driven into the ground by Matthews
thats racist
So fucking cozy they kept the commercials in
Green Bay won the Super Bowl this season. I believe this wild card game against the Eagles was the closest playoff game score point wise for the Packers against any opponent in their 4 playoff games. Just think how close it was for the Packers season to end right there instead of winning the Super Bowl....an interception in the end zone with 30 seconds left ended the season for the Eagles.
the packers season should've ended against the bears in the title game
besides rodgers 1 yard td run he absolutely did nothing
My sister was born during the sb
my cousin was born nine months later
14:20, makes me so hungry
HERE ONE WORD..."STARKS"...!!!
those eagles cheerleaders. whoa.
David Akers was paid in full come playoff time.
Riley cooper never expected to get that pass , look at the way he runs the route, he’s surprised the balls being thrown his way.
My dad is Tramon Willliams on the packers
Tell him I said thank you
You a packer fan?
Bad pass by Vick. Although there was clearly illegal contact by the db. But the nfl is so inconsistently called you never can count on anything. You can’t throw that ball like that. You have to put it up high and let your big wideout a chance to go get it. Not low. That was the easiest INt in that dBs career. Vick always did this in big games. Not clutch. Dangerous throughout the game for sure. But when it’s tight there’s a lot of other guys you’d rather have under center.
another Riley Cooper life classic 😂
I was there and it sucked Michael Vick threw an interception at the end🤬 and that was the year the Packers went on to win the Super Bowl Aaron Rodgers
I miss a lot of those former Packers.
48:48 how is that not illegal man down field lmao #63 damn near ran a route into the endzone
The ironic thing is if Vick doesn’t have the miracle comeback against the giants this yr in the regular season the packers don’t even make the playoffs this yr. then they beat them here. Rodgers could have 0 sbs
How u know dat
Because if the giants win that game they make the playoffs. The packers were the 6 seed and got in because of that comeback game

Edit. Looked it up and didn't matter who won between Eagles vs Giants as we went to beat giants and eagles that season so had tie breaker on either team.
Back when Free Agents WANTED to come to the Green Bay Packers, whereas now? Hah! They'd rather play for a 1-15 team! What used to be our best attribute, player loyalty, has become one of the biggest jokes Sadly!😥

Is this the year the Packers played the Steelers? My old coworkers used to ask me who do i think would win? I said the Packers by a touchdown. I think i was the only one pulling for the Packers that year.

My favorite part of this game is when Winston Justice got penalized twice in a row following a false start and holding that affected the Eagles’ chances. 😂
