    I'm not sure why you don't have more views or more thumbs up, you have the most complete tutorial for this particular repair on RUclips. Thanks for doing it. It took me several hours to do the repair, as I'm not good at this kind of stuff (shaky hands, etc), but it was a success.

      One question - i have another phone and it's screen is unresponsive... i believe it's software bug, because it was working before ios update (i even tried brand new screen and it's the same)... do you know what it could be or have you ever experienced this kind of problem? thanks

    Very informative video! I was wondering though if it would work if I replace the volume flex ONLY? (Ditching the existing coil altogether and just leave it on the back glass unsoldered to the new flex)

    • @repaironwheels
      @repaironwheels  2 года назад +1

      I guess it would work. I’d suggest taping the soldered area so it doesn’t short out something.
      But why would you want to ditch your wireless charger

    • @lesssapolo
      @lesssapolo 2 года назад

      @@repaironwheels Oh, thanks! I'll try that.
      Removing the coil will be a pain for me as I don't have a heat gun. And I don't really use the wireless charging feature anyway 😅

      @@lesssapolo You can also buy the volume/mute switch flex without the wireless charging pad, with exposed terminals so you can solder to your original charging pad.

      That’s also an option. I have a video about that coming soon

      @@repaironwheels Does the volume flex and wireless charging have anything to do with the cameras? I accidentally broke it and now the cameras don't work.

    Hi when I put my iPhone x on my Power bank wireless charger
    Press random buttons why? How can I fex it

    • @repaironwheels
      @repaironwheels  2 года назад

      I haven’t come across that issue personally but I’d start with replacing the screen and re testing. If the issue goes away than it was a screen issue. If it doesn’t than you have bigger issues, mainly logic board damage

    • @compilation8800
      @compilation8800 2 года назад

      @@repaironwheels the screen is new

    • @repaironwheels
      @repaironwheels  2 года назад

      Just because it’s OEM doesn’t mean it’s not defective. I’ve seen many ghost touching iPhone X with OEM screens. The easiest way to rule out whether it’s a board issue or a screen issue is to just replace the screen and test

    Help!! Please!! 🙏 I recently removed the back glass of my IPhone X and accidentally cut the wireless charger, and now it doesn’t turn on. Is this the reason why? do I have to replace the wireless charger for it to work again? Please help 🙏

    • @repaironwheels

      The device doesn’t need a wireless charger for it to boot up properly so it must be something else
