@@michaelcarra4080 1000% agree. The guitar work he's done with Sylosis is phenomenal, Architects couldn't have picked a better successor for Tom. I suppose he has to keep a significant difference with his playing to make sure that Architects and Sylosis weren't too similar.

I won't lie to myself and say I prefer this to what came before, but credit where it's due, this is beyond solid.

I love how they're able to take all the frustration and feelings from current events going on in the world and illustrate them very perfectly both visually and verbally.
This guy’s voice is so inspirational it was the first time I ever started hitting notes with my music. Always keep going.

Obviously, Dan's writing style is more on the nose and simple but it's genuinely sincere and an excellent way for the new audience of architects to understand there message.

Definitely my favourite song over the past album and singles combined. I feel it’s more technical then songs like animals or tear gas. Definitely like the aggressiveness of the guitar work 🎸

As a fan of Architects' back catalogue, I think this new album is also fantastic. The hooks are massive, and there's enough classic Architects energy to keep things engaging throughout. Gatekeepers can say what they wish. You can't expect a band to make the same kind of music forever just because you prefer it. If you don't like the new material, just don't listen to it. There's absolutely no call for some of the hate that Architects have gotten over the past couple of years. I hope they get huge off this record if that's what they want. They deserve it.
We thought the mid 2000s were the best time for metal.... now all the Used to be unheard of bands have made a comeback like no other. The era of metal has aged like fine wine and architects is one of the bands showing exactly that

If you liked this, go check out their other albums and songs . Quite different to this but still amazing. My personal favourite is all our gods have abandoned us but all their older stuff is phenomenal as well. Their previous album is kind of a middle ground so start there maybe?

Been waiting for Josh to finally separate himself from the yolk of living up to Tom Searle's legacy. This man's solos are mind blowing and though we got a taste test in "dead butterflies", this is his time to shine and show how truly exceptional of a guitarist he is! Long live architects and let's herald in their new era to this masterpiece of a track!!!
Holy hell is their best work. This deviation is really not for me. So I'd prefer that yolk intact with the white.

@@idrinkmilk282 Holy Hell was a final ode to the style Tom defined, and personally i think all our Gods was their true peak since the songs in Holy Hell lacked the emotion and technicality of all our Gods but the band was not quite ready to change styles just yet. As an architects fan since 09, I think its refreshing that they no longer need to tie themselves to that style as they usually alternate genres every 2 albums or so any way (i.e. The Here and Now and after Hollow Crown was a big change) so that era had run its course by the time Holy Hell came out. This new era is exciting for an old school fan but hey, everyone is different.

A great band will evolve and grow. So will their sound. Otherwise they will stay stagnant and boring. This is fresh, new, raw. Amazing. Love it. Can't wait for the whole album. It is always amazing to me to watch bands grow as the age, get married, have kids, lose people in their lives, tragedy, etc. That is how you know they are great musicians. They take what is going on in their lives and put it into music. You might not get it now, but you will more when you are going through it. I'm older, lol. So I'm been through almost all of it in life. So I can relate to a lot. Been loving these guys from the beginning. Will continue to be a fan. Great stuff guys. Keep giving this old fucker chills.

Happened to me to think that I would not like their new music afer Holly Hell, with Sam not screaming as much and the change on sound. But tbh, some of the new songs are growing up on me and I really enjoy them.
Also really enjoy the old albums, but is nice to be open to new music and sounds.

But that doesnt mean I'm gunna like everything I hear just through being open to listening and trying it. I'll continue to try architects stuff, because I used to adore them.
