I recently bought the glimmer foil machine and have watched countless videos to better learn how to use it. I can honestly say this is a game changer and you are the only crafter I have seen doing this technique. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas!
Hi, I’m new to your channel & so glad that RUclips placed this video in my news feed! I love your enthusiasm & teaching style! Thank you for sharing! I just had to like & subscribe! 😊
TFS they are lovely and I love the way they turned out. I will be trying this for sure. Plus, you are the first that I have seen that said which way the plates are supposed to go on. Didn’t realize the green was was supposed to go down first so thanks for that.
These are sooo gorgeous!!! Thanks so much for sharing this. I have been holding back on getting the foiling press bc of the expense of having to get the foiling plates, but if I can use it this way in the meantime while slowly investing in the foiling plates, it IS a game changer!!! Thanks!!!
Thank you for sharing this technique. I bought some hot foil plates and dies and the quality of the plates was not what it should be and it would not foil entirely. I know it was the plate because I used a different brand right after and it worked just fine so definitely the plate. I have not thrown out the wasted cardstock yet so I'm going to cut out the shapes and try this technique on the die cuts. Maybe I can save them!
Thank you for watching :) I have found that some plates foil different than others. There is a little learning curve but I’m getting better every time. Hope your die cuts come out well.
Thank you for watching :) In the Glimmer machine I only use the hot foil that is specially made for that type of hot foil but if you foil another way I think you can die cut also. Hope this helps :)
What is the pickup tool you are using. It looks like it has a very fine tip. Mine is rather bulky and would like to get one similar to the one you are using.
This is such a great idea. Question on the foil - I assume you have to use the "hot foil" and not the foil that you can use with your laminator for toner, correct? Just want to be sure. Thanks so much for sharing this technique!
Love your enthusiastic demo!! A lady after my own heart💜
