why didn't you (him) use a socket wrench with a longer handle and better leverage when setting the riv-nuts? I hate those things w/a passion; but more leverage and a drop of 3-in-1 oil makes it a lot easier. Of course a riv-nut tool is even easier and HF carries them. I guess it depends on how many you're going to install for the big tool to make sense...
I put the full dress up kit on my sti, and I swear my engine bay gets way more dirty than with the oem parts. I think because of the shrouds but I washed my car the other day and today I looked under the hood and had blue car wash soap all over the engine bay.
@@StreetInspired1 just looked at the shrouds I ordered and they leave that gap exposed as well. It’s gotta be where the hood strut rests. Maybe you can paint to colour match?
@@flapjackjuice3338 good point. I disnt even think of that. That gap as to be to make sure the strut can go down and not get crushed. But if I get tired of the look I may paint them or match them to the car. They're very easy peices to paint.
engine bay is looking real nice. i have the chasing js titanium radiator cap, real nice piece

Can you link the direct link to these parts. I wanna do it but red
Engine bay is looking good. Stealthy. Now you need a battery tie down!
Definately want a tie down, and to get rid of all the yellow caps!
I wrap that janky tool in electrical tape, gives a better grip. I have some shrouds coming this week 🤞
Thats a good idea! It's definitely a pain to work with im sure that would help!

will any of these fit a 14 forester xt?
Is there any functionality with the radiator shroud?
Not going to do anything crazy the most it might do is help direct a little more air into the duct and into the intake. Mostly for looks.

This man really replaced black parts with black parts
Yep! I like the more subtle look. Was never crazy about high bright red or acid green peices in the engine bay.
