    Fur Peace Ranch has electricity.
    How about plugging in and getting out some of the big guns?
    Start with an acoustic warm up and finish with an Electric Hot Tuna?
    Maybe with some guests?
    Not complaining by any means.
    Just hoping for a flashback.

    • @brianht1434
      @brianht1434 3 года назад

      I absolutely love Tuna. They have been my favorite since I saw them live at The Academy of Music in NYC in 1973. Finger pickin is phenomenal, but can't play Funky#7,Hit Single #1 and many of the other best Tuna songs on an acoustic guitar. Nobody gets an electric guitar to sing like Jorma. Often listen to electric songs recorded from the 70 's on RUclips. I already requested an electric quarantine show 2-3 weeks ago. Jorma is better known for his acoustic play, but I enjoy his electric play just as much!

      @@brianht1434 Thanks Brian, I'll check it out - probably seen it before. Never been called Dingbat Steve before but my friend Donna is a professional :) I always thought Bob was good, great for a 2nd guitarist, but not amazing until I saw the Dead outdoors at Sac, I think it was Cal-Expo mid to late 80's. Conversation on the way home was "the student gave the master a lesson today" Then I tried to learn Lost Sailor and realized that Weir is on a different level. Here's a link of me doing Good Shepherd ruclips.net/video/vv3o9VoCOXM/видео.html

      @Steve Hartman. I saw the Dead in an outdoor stadium in Jersey City and half way through the show there was a tremendous rain storm. Show ended it was chaos.(probably late 70's). I like the Dead,but when they do a 30 minute jam on Dark Star I can't seem to find a rhythm. Much prefer Tuna versus the Dead.

    Jorma, regarding the glasses fogging up and the mask situation, try using a band-aid with the mask, It helps with both. " Wearing a face mask to help prevent the spread of coronavirus has almost become second nature now (I say almost as although it's been nine months now, there's definitely still been the odd occasion where I've gotten all the way to Tesco, then realised I'm empty-handed and have had to head home again).
    But that's not to say face masks are always plain sailing when you do remember to bring one either - if you're somebody who struggles with them slipping off your face, or having your glasses steam up while wearing one, thankfully a doctor based in Memphis, Tennessee has shared a genius hack to overcome those obstacles. Hurrah!
    Daniel M. Heiferman, MD, took to Twitter to post a selfie in which he's wearing a medical grade mask - wait for it - secured to his face with a plaster. He told followers that the technique is one that he'd picked up at work: "If you’re having a hard time with glasses fogging or keeping your mask up over your nose, a simple bandaid does wonders. Learned it in the OR [Operating Room]. Feel free to share, it may save lives!""
