- Mary Hart reported that Dian was about to turn 40. She was born in 1944. The pictorial came out in 1991. Shaving off a few years I suspect. Remarkably, Dian was in her 40s for nearly half of her 18 years on the show.
As a teenager in the 70s Dian was the main reason I watched The Price Is Right. She's simply beyond gorgeous.
My aunt used to watch the show everyday when I was in junior high, so in Summer, I'd sometimes watch it with her. I just liked to look at the models, especially Dian Parkinson!
This calls for a second comment! Dian was 47 years old when she posed for Playboy................47!!! That right there should put her in the Playboy Hall of Fame!

During the 70s, while in college, us dorm guys used to watch The Price is Right. Have no idea what the show was about, but the models were gorgeous.
I remember when that issue came out. It was a beautiful pictorial.

It was good, but her second pictorial in May 1993 was even better. She really was nude in that one, all of her shown and with that bright smile on her face.

This December will be the 30th Anniversary of the Playboy Centerfold. Her birthday is 30Nov1944(77 yrs. old). She was 47yrs. old when she posed for Playboy. That's even more amazing, she was a lot closer to 50, than she was 40. Wow...
She has never worked a hard day in her life she should still look young!!!

I remember that issue. I was in my first year of college, and getting pictures of attractive women online was still a few years away. So, like a man, you'd go - buy a Playboy, a pack of gum, and a newspaper. Of all the women they had on TPIR, she was the most memorable.

I’m 42 yrs old I remember seeing her when my babysitter in the 80’s would watch the show. I had a major crush on her she was the hottest model.

They could have easily verified the age but it wasn't common to care so much and say so. Entertainment Tonight wasn't journalism but a newsmagazine used for promotions. If an actress and her PR said she was 40, they went with it.

@@42yearoldboy5 It was only after visiting this and other YT videos that I found out Dian was untruthful about her correct age. That has caused me to doubt her now-decades-long claim of nonconsensual carnal contacts with Bob Barker (of course, honesty and outer beauty should never be conflated!).

Two things: Dian withdrew the civil suit shortly thereafter; and Barker ended up settling suits brought against him by other models on the show - perhaps even losing at least one.
