Well i tried it but it didnt work and i think i know why since i have curly hair i have to use a lot of product and that makes the smell not work cause u only smell the product ... I think
My "hack" is applying vaseline, that leather mousturizer cream with navy blue cap on it, around an hour before i wear fragrance. The result is the frag last longer, definitely longer than when you apply scentless body lotion.
Well you can always go like Cinderella... Spray your undies and simply "forget" them somewhere. Maybe someone special will find them and try to find the nice smelling person that owns them: D
It's the same principle of applying makeup. You should always use some moisturizer(without scent) cream before putting on. It will help to stick better. The same goes for perfume.. Will last a bit longer.
I spray my curtains to scent my house. The fragrance lasts a few days. I did this after reading Christi Longs post in the Facebook group Eau My Soul about how Diaghilev sprayed his curtains with mitsouko. I didn’t have Mitsouko so I did it with Eau my Shalimar. My house smelled heavenly.
As a perfume addict myself, I have learned that you should keep a perfume in your car. I've learned that if I sprayed myself at home, the smell will go away. So before exiting your car, spritz some♡♡
I keep my perfume of the day. In my purse in a makeup bag. I dont put it on until I'm almost to work or almost to my destination. When I put it on at home the smell doesn't last me the length that I want. ... So I totally agree....thats at least an hour or more of scent that I loose at home

I love layering perfumes. My best layering combination is sprit of Molecule 01, Tom Ford Café Rose and Armani Prive Rose D'Arabie - gets a compliment every time. I feel like such a perfume chemist when I layer my fragrances. Love your videos. XO

I actually refer to it as stacking, although blending is probably the most apt description. Some helpful things I've discovered - frags generally layer well for me if: one smells similar to the other in the mid-to-base, both fragrances share a single prominent mid or bass note, both are citrus fragrances, or one adds a prominent note that the other is missing (especially for simpler scents like from Serge Lutens or Atelier Cologne). Simple gourmands or very subtle frags are usually the easiest to layer. Frags generally DON'T layer well for me if: one is not exactly to my liking (layering won't mask the unpleasant notes), both are in distinct families/groups (like chypre and gourmand or leathers and aquatics), both have a prominent mid note that clashes (according to your tastes), or both are very complex, especially in the base. I also have more specific rules for notes (like musks and woods), but those are just some of the basics. It's just fun to experiment!!

I'm a perfume ADDICT .I recently had ALL my gf's /sisters &in laws/mother&in law/aunts&nieces come&take what they wanted bc my collection was too big now I'm down to around 150 (I know this is alot but for me it's not).I've always done the hair thing both on my brush &straight on my hair. I've been doing the lingerie thing too for yrs ,I wear perfume to bed every single night so I can smell it as I drift off (heaven)& I've been layering ever since I started wearing perfume .*wear it on ur bck (just reach around&spray )*in winter spray on Ur wooly scarves it lasts days* u know those bullet atomisers u get from Dior to fill for on the go ?I put in my layering perfumes so I hv them at the same level whenever wherever* spray ur tummy/thighs& shoulders *don't be afraid to try cheaper perfumes they don't last long but they can mix well with ur good ones*soak a small cotton ball with ur fave &leave it tucked in the centre of ur bra it will release scent all day long in bursts as u move* where possible buy the body lotion&wear it with the perfume (my last one is don't buy the"latest" fragrance ,only buy bc u like it &always try it on 1st as what smells great on 1 person might smell bad on u just based on Ur skins oils )sorry this was so long but I could talk about it ALL DAY .
I've been perfuming or "body spraying" my hair for a while, because I find that the scent of the outdoors tends to stay on one's hair. I hope that makes sense LOL! But I never thought to perfume undies/bras!! DEFINITELY gonna use that, thanks so much!
I actually buy patchouli essential oil and mix it with avocado oil, and then smooth that on myself a little before applying certain wintery scents. It actually lasts! Lemongrass in the summer does too. Many essential oils will evaporate quickly, but basenotes can stay for days.
Another hack people can try is to use hand creme (without scent) and apply the creme in your hand palm and mix with your perfume and rub gently on your pulse points
I’ve been doing the first two hacks for as long as I can remember, probably since I’ve been using fragrances in my teenage years. They make my fragrances last all day. It lasts on your hair because the oils in hair products keeps the alcohol in fragrances from evaporating too quickly
I repeat Ladies DO NOT spray your underwear because it will mess up you ph. Their are sprays that are made for down there but do not spray your underwear with regular, niche or designer perfume.

That only really matters if you’re spraying the crotch of your underwear. Spraying the outside where it’s nowhere near your actual vagina shouldn’t be a problem

Would love to see some “Dupes” videos. I’ve seen this with makeup and although I know it’s not as easy to find lesser expensive duplicates that smell really similar to some of the more expensive perfumes, it would be great to find some that are comparative. For example, I absolutely love Delina but would love to find a less expensive option that would be comparable. It would be great for those who love the niche fragrances but just can’t justify the large price tag, depending upon life’s circumstances. Carolyn Baker estiara has great dupes and they tend to mimic big brands for ie Davidoff's cool water they have Mystic Waters version and it smells way better than the original
I don’t layer - as in one fragrance sprayed on top of another . However , I will spray a fragrance on one part of my body and a different fragrance that compliments the first on another part of my body .

I just started spraying fragrance in my hair about 1 month ago. Its not a lot of sprays, just. I noticed that the performance of the fragrance was slightly stronger and it lingered longer. Like 10 to 12 hours plus. I agree with your tip. I've used this method at work.

Layering for beginners is easier if you stick from fragrances from the same fragrance house... they tend to blend well and effortlessly because they generally share a lot of the same notes with slight differences. Once you get the hang of layering, its easier to move onto layering fragrances from different houses ❤
Loved this! I recently got Unbois Vanille and my daughter paired it with Cashmere and OMG ! I also like pairing Not A Perfume because it’s only one note and very easy to layer

I love layering gourmands (vanillas, caramel, coconut, etc) with fruity/berry scents. My favorite and most complimented combination is Tresor La Nuit lotion with Bath Body Works - Strawberry And Bourbon body spray. It lasts all day and smells great without being overpowering
Cheapie layering: Zara rose musk on top of Delina Exclusif oil, from oil perfumery... When both perfumes have a common note (rose note in this case), it's a safer combo.

Ever since I been into fragrances I always sprayed areas and certain pieces of clothing for the day I get constant compliments on how good I smell ! Also when I know I’m going to wear perfume Lol which is everyday I make sure my laundry detergent is up to par as well

I wear all perfumes for ME. This makes me spray it wherever I know I will smell it as often as possible. I spray down the front of my shirt, inside, onto my stomach and decolletage, as my body heat makes it waft up and into my nose. I also like to spray a facial tissue and place it in my jacket pocket, if it's cool enough to wear one. This way, I can smell the scent on my hand, or I may simply take the tissue out and place it near my nose to inhale the scent. I figure I worked hard all my life so that I could enjoy the little things in life which bring me joy.

Layering fascinates me. Lately I have been thinking about the concept of layering fragrances that smell really good on the skin in areas that will be sniffed and put really good projecting fragrance in areas that really won't be sniffed but could push it out.

I'm currently layering the 2 fragrances in the Tobacco collection from Zara (Rich/Warm/Addictive & Intense/Dark/Exclusive) and have to say these 2 are MADE TO BE USED TOGETHER. Dolce & Gabbana pour femme the dry down is so marshmallowy! Also Ariana grande ari is like a cloud of sweet marshmallows I'm not a fan of celebrity perfumes but that one is quite nice as a cheaper version of D&G

These are great! I actually enjoy spraying perfume on my shoulders. And behind my knees and the back of my neck! (Obv with a stronger perfume, don't go with major sprays). Layering is fantastic! Certain perfumes I have to layer in order to fully appreciate...for instance I always love mixing Petite Cherie with any delicate vanilla scent like Atelier Vanilla Incensee.

I'm a male, in winter, I spray my really expensive and rare ones on my Scarves! (Like Iris Pallida 2007 by L'Artisan Parfumer 3,000 laser numbered bottles) That delicate angel potion lasts ten minutes on my skin, but ten days on my scarf!!!

Good hack for perfumes that are very heavy or for people that are more sensitive to smells is to put your fragrance behind your knees. That way it will waft up without being near the face/hands.
Yes love the honesty. As a guy I do the same. After putting on my underclothes (briefs and wife beater) ... I’ll spray over the garments my crotch area and my chest area. I’m also a tall guy so I’ve found it not so helpful to spray my hair. I know ppl will still smell my trail or has an but it’s honestly not that effective when ur tall.
I’ve just bought way too much perfume, but I’ll have to get Un Bois Vanille! Yes, Sycamore is too dry! It never melds with me, and I’ve already looked at wearing it with something, but I don’t own anything that I think would work. It was a quick buy in the airport, and I think it was a layered effect that made me like it. I used to wear Love and Neroli Portofino body lotion during the summer.
Please do a video about to apply and how much to apply and what occasions. ie: Taking public transportation in the morning and going to work. I don't want to overpower anyone there - but I still want to be noticed. ;)

Hi Demi. I really like to use the following combination in Summertime; it is really great and longavity is for + 8 hours. DG, light Bleu Intense, Mandarin/Musk perfume oil and layer it with IsoE super. The idea is not mine but it works great ! Kind regards from The Netherlands.

I love exfoliating and washing with "Envy Me by Gucci"..."Angel by Thierry Mugler"..."Love of Pink by Lacoste "... "Cucumber/Melon Bath and Body" OR "Bright Chrystal by Versace" shower or bath gels. Then l moisturize with the body lotion along with "Vaseline" or "Palmer's cocoa butter", followed by spritzing my body and bed sheets with the chosen fragrance. This type of layering is great for meditation, yoga and beauty naps😴. I enjoy spraying my hair brush and closet. Brushing my teeth and tongue regularly also makes my man want to kiss me till l am dizzy💋. Keep up the good work! You rock!🌷

I keep it in my backpack because in the car the heat will damage it. I had my laboratory thermometer in my car and it hit 120°F (49°C)

Would love to see some “Dupes” videos. I’ve seen this with makeup and although I know it’s not as easy to find lesser expensive duplicates that smell really similar to some of the more expensive perfumes, it would be great to find some that are comparative. For example, I absolutely love Delina but would love to find a less expensive option that would be comparable. It would be great for those who love the niche fragrances but just can’t justify the large price tag, depending upon life’s circumstances. Carolyn Baker estiara has great dupes and they tend to mimic big brands for ie Davidoff's cool water they have Mystic Waters version and it smells way better than the original

I just started spraying fragrance in my hair about 1 month ago. Its not a lot of sprays, just. I noticed that the performance of the fragrance was slightly stronger and it lingered longer. Like 10 to 12 hours plus. I agree with your tip. I've used this method at work.

Layering for beginners is easier if you stick from fragrances from the same fragrance house... they tend to blend well and effortlessly because they generally share a lot of the same notes with slight differences. Once you get the hang of layering, its easier to move onto layering fragrances from different houses ❤
Loved this! I recently got Unbois Vanille and my daughter paired it with Cashmere and OMG ! I also like pairing Not A Perfume because it’s only one note and very easy to layer

I love layering gourmands (vanillas, caramel, coconut, etc) with fruity/berry scents. My favorite and most complimented combination is Tresor La Nuit lotion with Bath Body Works - Strawberry And Bourbon body spray. It lasts all day and smells great without being overpowering
Cheapie layering: Zara rose musk on top of Delina Exclusif oil, from oil perfumery... When both perfumes have a common note (rose note in this case), it's a safer combo.

Ever since I been into fragrances I always sprayed areas and certain pieces of clothing for the day I get constant compliments on how good I smell ! Also when I know I’m going to wear perfume Lol which is everyday I make sure my laundry detergent is up to par as well

I wear all perfumes for ME. This makes me spray it wherever I know I will smell it as often as possible. I spray down the front of my shirt, inside, onto my stomach and decolletage, as my body heat makes it waft up and into my nose. I also like to spray a facial tissue and place it in my jacket pocket, if it's cool enough to wear one. This way, I can smell the scent on my hand, or I may simply take the tissue out and place it near my nose to inhale the scent. I figure I worked hard all my life so that I could enjoy the little things in life which bring me joy.

Lately I have been thinking about the concept of layering fragrances that smell really good on the skin in areas that will be sniffed and put really good projecting fragrance in areas that really won't be sniffed but could push it out.

Great advices, think I'll start spraying my haircomb tomorrow. I'm currently layering the 2 fragrances in the Tobacco collection from Zara (Rich/Warm/Addictive & Intense/Dark/Exclusive) and have to say these 2 are MADE TO BE USED TOGETHER. Dolce & Gabbana pour femme the dry down is so marshmallowy! Also Ariana grande ari is like a cloud of sweet marshmallows I'm not a fan of celebrity perfumes but that one is quite nice as a cheaper version of D&G

These are great! I actually enjoy spraying perfume on my shoulders. And behind my knees and the back of my neck! (Obv with a stronger perfume, don't go with major sprays). Layering is fantastic! Certain perfumes I have to layer in order to fully appreciate...for instance I always love mixing Petite Cherie with any delicate vanilla scent like Atelier Vanilla Incensee.

I'm a male, in winter, I spray my really expensive and rare ones on my Scarves! (Like Iris Pallida 2007 by L'Artisan Parfumer 3,000 laser numbered bottles) That delicate angel potion lasts ten minutes on my skin, but ten days on my scarf!!!

Good hack for perfumes that are very heavy or for people that are more sensitive to smells is to put your fragrance behind your knees. That way it will waft up without being near the face/hands.
Yes love the honesty. As a guy I do the same. After putting on my underclothes (briefs and wife beater) ... I’ll spray over the garments my crotch area and my chest area. I’m also a tall guy so I’ve found it not so helpful to spray my hair. I know ppl will still smell my trail or has an but it’s honestly not that effective when ur tall.

I’ve just bought way too much perfume, but I’ll have to get Un Bois Vanille! Yes, Sycamore is too dry! It never melds with me, and I’ve already looked at wearing it with something, but I don’t own anything that I think would work. It was a quick buy in the airport, and I think it was a layered effect that made me like it. I used to wear Love and Neroli Portofino body lotion during the summer.

I've always loved applying some essential oil on my lingerie, the best one was a mix of oils from Egypt, it smelled like all the sweetest flowers in the world!

Hi Demi. I really like to use the following combination in Summertime; it is really great and longavity is for + 8 hours. DG, light Bleu Intense, Mandarin/Musk perfume oil and layer it with IsoE super. The idea is not mine but it works great ! Kind regards from The Netherlands.
Love this video, especially the layering combo's. I layer fragrances nearly every day. I love Angel Muse with Al Rehab Choco Musk or any other chocolate primary fragrance. The Alien/Narcotic V sounds amazing! I would love to hear about more successful layerings, thank you!

I love exfoliating and washing with "Envy Me by Gucci"..."Angel by Thierry Mugler"..."Love of Pink by Lacoste "... "Cucumber/Melon Bath and Body" OR "Bright Chrystal by Versace" shower or bath gels.
Then l moisturize with the body lotion along with "Vaseline" or "Palmer's cocoa butter", followed by spritzing my body and bed sheets with the chosen fragrance. This type of layering is great for meditation, yoga and beauty naps😴.
I enjoy spraying my hair brush and closet. Brushing my teeth and tongue regularly also makes my man want to kiss me till l am dizzy💋.
