Getting close to pulling the trigger on an LG C3 and would most likely add a Firestick to the mix since my OG Shield is starting to age out quickly. This review is very timely and much appreciated.

My only gripe is that you missed one thing, which is what I tuned in for. You didn't mention what ports they have. I learned that 4K Max has a Micro-USB, which is a deal breaker for me. I left Micro-USB behind a couple of years ago. Do you have a similar comparison video on Chromecast and Roku?
Can not figure out any reason to "upgrade" from my og fire tv gen2.

HI, I'm researching to get a streaming stick for my parents. They are senior and not tech savvy, and I know my mom would be annoyed by the part you mentioned where you press forward and it does different actions on different platforms. She would not be able to remember which button could ff or rewind for each app.

Good video but you left out one of the biggest features of the 4k Max, it is the only one that does arc return from any other input on your tv or projector to Amazon connected speakers ie the Studio speakers and sub with atmos capabilities

I purchased a fire stick 4K Maxx from Amazon but now it was defective so I had to send it back but they want to do a replacement and send me a lesser one, I'm having so much problems with Amazon.

My Fire Stick is from 2017. Lately the buffering has gotten bad. It is a fairly recent problem. The connection specs seem to be OK. I have cleared cache, cleared up storage space and deleted and reinstalled Hulu. Hulu seems to be the biggest problem. Is my Firestick just old, and would a 2023 model more than likely solve the buffering issue?

Genuine question what or would I be getting over the built in smart features that’s comes with Netflix etc built in? Do I benefit anything or are they for TVs without they features?? My TVs a Samsung 2018 and can stream 4k HDR with built in apps no need for fire stick unless I’m missing something out

I got the 1st fire stick and let me tell you it works like 5hit. A year or so ago it worked fine with my Hulu, HBO max and Prime but now it pauses all the time, shows connection errors even though it right next to the modem and no other device in my house does these things. These things are made so cheaply. I have Spectrum internet.

What happened to the 1 and 2 buttons? None of your four models show that. Why do I want a dedicated button for Disney or Amazon music? I never use them.

Hmmm.. so despite myself and countless others answering an Amazon survey on what we’d like to see most in future fire tv sticks, they still ignore the results and put in the same low memory and storage as my 2020 4k fire tv stick, which runs out of memory and storage with just a few basic apps installed.
That's why I never do surveys, to give my time and advice for free. These mofos will do what's best for the bottom line. Do you think they care about what the consumer wants? How else can Micro-USB port be explained on a 2023 model?
I'll keep the ones I have until they no longer work. I don't see the point in upgrading every time they put a new one out. Mine worl perfectly fine.

I find it extremely annoying that they don't offer a table-top style of Fire TV device with an ethernet port. I currently have a Fire stick with a USB ethernet adapter but the whole thing looks like a giant shit mess of cables. I don't like using Wi-Fi for entertainment if I can avoid it due to all the cameras and smart devices I have on the network. Roku makes proper table-top devices. Even Onn is making one now but it doesn't have ethernet so it's almost pointless.
BTW - I know they have the Fire Cube, but it's super pricey and has lots of features I couldn't care less about. I don't use smart speakers for anything. I like having absolute control, zero automation and above all, no one listening to every word I say.

Nunca más stick Fire, me quedo como un ladrillo el Max 4K anterior, quedo en android repairt y no hay comando que resetee. Compre el Google y de 10 en comparación, aparte usb c es la diferencia. No aconsejo el Fire stick
