Great video! I’m working a winch install myself and pulled the entire front bumper cover to see what the frame rails looked like. It looks like your front mount bolts are going into a frame rail extension that is bolted to the frame. I may be overthinking this, but that doesn’t seem strong enough and maybe needs to be boxed in? Any thoughts? Also, any video of the winch in use? Thanks!!
Cheers for watching. Yeah the front bolt is into the frame extension the rear bolt goes all the way through the frame extension up through the frame itslelf to the top of the chassis, have a look and you will see what I mean. But yes there is options for extra bolt locations I’ve been looking long at as I’m thinking about making a few up to sell.
Neat job mate... nice and tidy...👍 I'm a finger print type of painting guy too....🤣🤣🤣 Maybe you should have a crack at making your own bull bar....🤔 Youve done a great job on both ends of Lazerus...👍👍
Would be good but need to consider compliance for the air bag and crash ratings(not that the 79 has much of a rating, but still.) ARB, TJM, Off Road Animal etc all have to go through engineering and get ADR approvals for all their bars, is quite an ordeal.
Jeez that job came out really good . Well done 😊
Cheers mate! Glad you like it.
Quality finish!
Thanks mate.
Nice and tidy 👌 when you get a bullbar you could sell the bumper and winch cradle as a kit for someone else to use
Cheers mate🤙🏻
Nice mate, you are doing some great videos- keep it up hey, you deserve lots of viewers!
Thanks mate. 👍🏼

Very nice. Gotta say maybe you should be working for toyota ypu made huge improvements in the shed.
Why don’t you make a whole new front bar ? you do it really well , something no one else would have on that model .
Unique.
Yeah thanks mate, is tempting.
Good idea

Great idea mate looks a killer! Would you consider making more of those, I’d be keen to buy one?

Safari are working on it, and I will grab one for sure. I won’t be doing an aftermarket airbox this time. Stay tuned.
