Agreed although I think weeb is a fake term. It ignores the fact that so much Japanese art especially music and games is objectively better that its Western counterparts.
i genuinely find it impossible to cry to this song because its not sad the movies aren't sad and makotos death isnt sad, they're fulfilling seeing someone learn to live and care so much then sacrifice himself for everyone he loves isnt sad or heartbreaking or even tear jerking, it almost makes me smile that someone so apathetic could end up loving the world so much thay he would give himself up for it
