Honestly I kind wish in EoS there was a mini arc where you do play as just the partner and do some sort of quest to bring back the MC. I think it would have finally concluded the partners character arc of becoming couragous, by having to bring back the MC by themselves. From what I understand Gates to Infinity did this, which is pretty cool, but I feel like it would have been even better in Explorers because the Partner has a bit more of an established arc.
If I had a cent for every time a hero with a traumatic past climbed a tower along with a precious friend to save the world from an imminent catastrophe knowing full well that they are going to sacrifice themselves, I’d have two cents. Which is true, but it’s odd that happened twice.

Seeing Igglybuff come to terms with his death hits like a truck, and brilliant decision on the developers' part to tie his evolution into Wigglytuff to that scene. I never liked how in the later entries you just max out a character's Connection Orb link for them to evolve, tying it into their in-story development just hits so hard.
or how about that moment when Monferno was shot by Darkrai because he stops him from letting Darkrai control Gardevoir no further, only for Gardevoir gave her life force to Monferno and revived him back to life at a cost of her life? Monferno was super pissed by Darkrai insensitive response that he immediately evolves to Infernape and attempted to Flare Blitz him to fainting. Haven't for Registeel, Darkrai could have fainted forever. after that day, Infernape became a better man and get the best school test scores. he even rejects your confession if you're playing a female pokemon because he's so loyal to her.
I've always found it funny how if you started Klecleon's Connection Orb link on the night of the final boss, you manage to skip the whole boss fight. This only worked on one version of the game though and didn't work on any other.
I don't know how I never connected these two games in my head. Listening to this makes it painfully and beautifully obvious. The sound of a ticking clock is an especially good touch. So many people are being introduced to P3 with Reload. I hope that Explorers can get a rerelease in some form too.
I’d love to hear Battle For Everybody’s Souls/Battle Hymn of the Soul done like this now that I’ve gotten a taste for it lol Though if somebody could also point me toward a version of Dialga’s Fight to the Finish in Meguro’s style, I wouldn’t complain lol

Ironically Gates to Infinity fits Persona 3's themes closer with the whole "suicide cult" in GtI and general hope versus despair theming in the game....down to the final bosses. But then we wouldn't get this cool soundfont with GtI's though, so it's fine!
As a fan of the PMD series and Persona music this is a perfect combo for me. It's honestly getting me feeling all kinds of emotions. I will definitely be coming back to listen to this remix.

i love it when i have my dog use fire moves on dialga never more satisfying though tbh i did not cry during the end scene of persona 3 (i absaloutly cried for pmd because duh) due to the fact that i was playing portable so i did not know untill much later what actually happened to makoto but awesome work here this is amazing perfect mash of these two amazing series that i adore also KOROMARU BEST BOY
The way they had the you spend your last moments fading away with your Partner by your side while watching the Krabby blow bubbles was so emotional, and the way you can actually bring back the Human by playing Special Episode 6: The Answer was masterful, the twist with Grovyle, Dusknoir and Celebi coming to the Partner Pokemon's aid was incredible, though the fights against the guild members felt a bit forced, only bidoof gave me some real trouble, the battle theme slapped though, the final boss being Giratina was absolutely incredible, the hug you get with your partner as they reunited had me in tears.

Great job! If I might offer a piece of constructive criticism, I think the sound you used for the main melody at around 0:57 cuts off a bit early. I've had the same issue many times, especially with pokemon soundfonts (like the electric piano in Black/White). Some instruments just don't have a "long note" version of their sound.
