- When it comes to the craziest core designs in the history of bowling, Mo Pinel was behind pretty much all of them! With the Radical Max Bias, it uses one of his final core designs from the Maximum Results and pairs it with some brand new HK22+ Textured Hybrid coverstock technology! Let's see how this monster does!

With the help of SPECTO data, it'll help tell the story about reaction shape, overall hook and continuation through the pins. Here are the SPECTO data points used and definition of each term:
Launch Speed - Speed measured off the hand.
Entry Speed - Speed measured at the pins. (What you'd see on your home center MPH screens)
Rev Rate - Revolutions Per Minute (RPM)
Launch Angle - The angle the ball traveled the first 10 feet.
Break Point Position - Board at which the ball was at its outermost position.
Total Hook - Total number of boards the ball crosses on the way to the pins.
Hook Power - Number of boards the ball hooked based from the True Breakpoint.
Entry Angle - The angle of the ball between 51 and 55 feet.
Impact Angle - The angle of the ball between 57 and 59.5 feet.
Pin Deck Exit - Ball position at the end of the pin deck.

I am not sure if it would be something you’d do, but I think it would be so cool to see a video were you talk about surface changes. The black hammer, purple hammer, and even reactive balls going down or up in grit and utilizing polish vs compound. It isn’t something a lot of people post about, but it would be nice to be able to visualize the science behind different surfaces, polish vs compound, and surface on urethane.
The reaction of this ball suspiciously looks like a Hammer Diesel that i once had, my eyes could be playing tricks on me but that is what i see. I really liked that smooth rolling ball.
Mo should've been remembered for the AMF's XS Series... That was the Best Ball ever Made!!!

I wish you guys would explain in your live video tomorrow what the "textured" coverstock additive really is and how well it works. I need a lot of help on heavy oil patterns and surface disappears after 6-7 trips down the lane. I wish one of the ball companies would come up with a coverstock or additive that gives the performance of a 1500 or 2000 finish ball, even after it gets some lane shine on it. If the "texture" additive is a real thing that would be an answer. But the fact that they are marketing this ball as 1500 out of box tells me otherwise -- that the surface is still necessary.

Would you say that the "textured" part is like the old high-load/light-load particle balls of the old days?
@@brunsnick Please, in detail! No gimmicks! Wish the performance was reviewed at 3-4000 to demonstrate but with the box finish at 1500 we are going to be looking at every video with a super dull review.
@@Naregnemyes You are driving yourself crazy for no reason. Not sure what gimmick you are talking about. Nick mentions MICA in this video when talking about the texture to the cover. Secondly; the ball comes at 1500 OOB for a reason. So why would he take the ball to 4000? Finally, all you will see at 4000 is a ball that wants to go a few feet longer with more pop down lane. Texture or no texture. A ball at 1500 will want to read sooner and a ball at 4000 will want to go longer. K.I.S.S!! The only thing surface change dictates is length.

At first I thought this ball had a diff of .030, then realized its a 050 dif ,and an inter of 030!!! this ball is pretty nuts!!! Would make a great from the left ditch ball for me!! This ball gonna give the Extreme Envy and Effect a run for the money!!

I really like the look of this ball. Rolls like a urethane. Very smooth through the whole lane. It seems to reward slower speed and revs.

Of course I didn’t get to see this on time. But now I can and I’m really waiting this ball of it’s going to be a great ball. Effect is on back order so I am hoping this will be effective as well
I prefer the smooth predictable motion I get from symmetrical low flare balls like the Scorpion LF that was released this year.
The Black Widow 3.0 seems like it might fit into my arsenal if I wanted to add a strong asym.

hey Nick using competitor product what do you think of Pink black widow urethane with 360 grit and reacta gloss, will try it out soon, not sure what to expect, which will be stronger surface, reacta gloss or 360 - 800 box finish
Looks like a speed sensitive ball when playing left. I think it would be a consistent reliable look playing in the track area but once you had to move in i would lose all confidence in the motion consistency on the backend. The movement is similar to the katana dragon to me which i liked as long as i could play in the track
So what is "Textured" then? Is this akin to the particle balls that Morich was so fond of? One of the problems with the old particles was that after 30-40 games the particles got dull and you could never quite get them back with a resurface. We need more info!

My eyes move with it, for every 5 board move I’m usually moving my eyes 2-3.

How do you see this compared to the 3.0? I currently use a 3.0 with a 500-1000 surface for my heavy oil ball, was thinking maybe this could replace my Theorem as my hybrid asym in my bag and then I could take the 3.0 to something like 500-1000-3000 to be a more angular option to my Scorpion Low Flare
Both hook a ton, 3.0 better from deeper angles for me. Recovers more.
Had a Results Plus with the TP-1+ coverstock and it was way too much strength in the midlane, with little left for the correct entry angle on our house shot (similar to a 40 uL & 2 board wider Stone Street). How would you say the Max Bias compares?

He uses the same 60x5x20 layout in every video I’ve seen
5” pin to pap on asyms because they’re typically stronger and that’s been my sweet spot. 4.5 on symmetricals because they’re a little slower to respond. 4” on the low differential thick shell balls.

The ball companies need to come together and work on new free fall pin setters and less work on trying to sell us a new bowling ball every month. Cause when league bowlers quit bowling due to string pins, the sales of their balls is gonna be non-existent.

Is the coverstock made with HK 22 + ( like a new formula ) or is it saying HK 22 plus hybrid coverstock
HK22+ is a tweaked base resin.

Very interesting ball! I am thinking of getting one to fit between my purple hammer and hitter, but I'd love to see similar reviews on heavier oil. Wonder if this ball can be a heavy oil killer like the Gem.
Is that an inverted pitch u have drilled? Or what is that referred too? I throw 2 handed no thumb, and i actually like to turn the ball to where in my mind it "Feels" like how u have yours drilled. Ive been considering about some different driliing for my fingers for a consistent grip every toss. 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻

Way too much ball for most lane conditions but I can think of one or two PBA conditions where this would be very useful on fresh oil.
Lots of speed dominant players out there that benefit from a ball like this.

I bet this ball would work really well on the fresh at the USBCs. This is THAT ball for when you need to play straighter on sport/challenge patterns with a lot of volume in the fronts. This gives me some 3D Offset vibes but stronger. I am really looking forward to the new Messenger Powercor throw back to the old Messenger Ti Pearl video.
Maybe I’ll make the bag for it, decision time this weekend.
1st ball out of the bag on doubles/singles this year, but NOT for team. Team pattern hooks... this is WAY too much ball unless you've got half of Norm's revs.
