I love to share my hotspot information.... Nothing better than to help a fellow sportsman to be successful. I fish public lakes...bank fishing..or off my jetski. I enjoy telling the kids where to fish, bait to use...I'll even give them my baits.
I fully agree with everything you just explained I remember coming into the tackle shop and meeting you for the first time and we got to sit and talk everytime I've come in. Keep up the great positivity and keep doing what you do your a great roe model to alot of fisherman including myself and I think alot of people feel the same as I do
Thank you so much man! I really appreciate it! I always loved talking with everyone. I think I learned something from everyone I got a chance to sit and talk with!
The comment about asking where and what bait is so true. you dont have to tell anyone a secret hole or your life story. just an idea and a ballpark to get someone started is plenty.
You guys up at the store are all very great people and very informative. I go in there for all my needs and not only that but they are informative about ice conditions and stuff like that. As for the haters, I have a few lol.
Lol yeah, I think we all have a few haters. I may not get to talk fishing all day anymore but now I get to go in and talk fishing with the guys and not have to worry about getting shelves stocked! ;)
Great video! You don't work there anymore? You were very helpful and friendly and my son would always get a chuckle when we saw the RUclipsr at the tackle store. Local stores 100% I just ordered an Otter resort a couple weeks ago which I could of got them to pricematch to Cabelas but I would never even think to ask for that as local stores need to make money and don't have the buying power the box stores do.
Thanks man, I appreciate that. Not a lot of people think about price matching at local stores. I'd always give it a go but I know we always tried to match the big stores and maybe just didnt know they had a sale.
Ok I wanna start a shop up in the future. I just really like fishing and have a ton of knowledge about the fish that are most popular to fish in my area. Downside is that I’m only 17 and I’d have to wait a bit.
Thays ok! I think you should def do what drives you in life. The great thing about being young and not quite able to open yet is that you could find a local shop and work there for a few years. It's a great way to really find the business drivers in your area as well make relationships with suppliers and sales reps too!
Agreed to many of the points, wouldn’t be as fun if u told me exactly where to the gps coordinate. Give me the information to learn myself how to find. Like you said there’s ways of helping others out without giving out your secrets. Give me a starting place that I can work from. Very intimidating walking up to a body of water not knowing much other than internet research where do u start.
Absolutely! Glad you can relate too. Sometimes I think guys forget where they started... or they're worried were gonna find their spots too when we DO the work. Lol
I agree, there is a tendency you step all over people if they don’t make a perfect release, or there technique is not perfect. I have not watched your other videos but If your on lake Simco catching fish, thats all you need to say. You dont have to point out the exact location. If there is 30 huts there will now be 60. There will be more trash and less fish. I can understand if someone was angry with you for pointing out a specific location, even if you call it a community hole. Thats like saying…who cares if its a town on ice so lets make it a city! These videos get thousands of veiws, figure it out. Promotion of a specific location on social media is the worst kind of bad fishing etiquette. I have had several places that were accessible for fishing that are now posted because of the unwanted traffic. People want to be free and within there rights, to wave people into public fishing areas. Uncool
Honestly I'm so torn with this subject. I 100% agree with what you're saying and I also still fight with new fishermen who get frustrated because they can't find fish. I really truly want to help people the most I can, but you're right, sometimes helping that far gets to the wrong people who are into it only for themselves.
Good content but you take WAY too long to get to the meat of the subject. I want to hear it but I can’t stand your talking in circles. Maybe change that. I’m out.
Im watching this going into a bait shop as my first job and this video was helpful.
Congrats on the job! Hope you love it!

That is awesome!

@Lucian Jackson I would suggest FlixZone. Just search on google for it =)

I met you at the shop you worked at. Great store. Lots of great advice.
Thanks man! I dont work there anymore but it's still a great shop ;)

I agree. In fact if someone tells me an exact spot I feel like I'm cheating
Dude I would love to work at a tackle shop. Great info.
Thx man! Yeah it was for sure a food time!

Love this. I work at a bait shop in Galveston
I'd still be doing it if I could!
hahaha Yeah people gonna hate. I love it. That's how you know you're doing well.
Lol I need more hate ;)
You’re not at Trombleys anymore? What are you doing now?
No sir, I've moved on to doing my own online tackle store as a side project to my new job doing IT work in Muskoka.
Met the Meegs guy at The Bait Bucket in Barrie.
Cool dude right?! James is so down to earth and willing to chat with everyone
Also love that shirt, where do I get one?
It's been a while since I got this... I think it was from the 705 anglers facebook page. Reach out to the moderators.
That’s sick thanks for the info... haven’t seen u on my channel in a long time sadly
Ah sorry man! I'm trying to keep up but theres so many channels! Lol
Orillia Fishing haha ikr it’s so hard but it’s fine man I understand but keep up the great videos
I went into a tackle shop today for pint reds. They tried to sell me more rotten maggots then live ones
Yeah, some places have a good relationship with their live bait distributors and get their bait turned over pretty often, others don't unfortunately
@@OrilliaFishing more like I had twat written on my forehead .and they tried too sell me crap to make more money

After your dog interrupted you 3 times, I lost my interest in your story... please don't waste our precious time...
Lol you bet.

Appreciate the feedback.
Jesus Christ get on with it already🤦🏻♂️. My dog my dog, skip
Lol what? Skip was my dog... but he used to take off sometimes... did he go to your place to double dip on snacks? Smart dog.
