- The Field of Dreams game was played at Jackie Robinson Stadium. This video features the highlights from the game between Michael Bolton’s Bombers and Barry Bond’s Superstars, the world’s best baseball players.
Players like Barry Bonds, Ken Griffey Jr, Frank Thomas, Ozzie Smith, Mike Piazza, Jeff Bagwell, Brett Saberhagen, Matt Williams, Bip Roberts, Royce Clayton, Jeff Fassero, John Franco, Todd Zeile, Gregg Jefferies, Eddie Murray, Andy Ashby, Brady Anderson, Rod Beck and Bobbi Bonilla. The Bomber’s had some of the best softball players in the world as well. And it was all for a good cause to raise money for charity.

Babe, there are so many underprivileged young boys out there who really love and enjoy the game, but because of how expensive the game is they usually are not able to play. Playing baseball as we all know can be high in cost, such as the extra training, the uniform cost, shoes, independent lessons, baseball gear/ special bats, traveling cost and everything associated to playing the game. Me particularly, just seeing some of the kids faces light up in the crowds at a lot of the Middle School/ High School games , because of their love for the game, but cannot play due to the high cost associated with the game. I have been lead to ask if there were a foundation already in place for underprivileged teens to apply and receive assistance? Just curious!!! If not, I think it would be a great foundation to start...
