It will work in all three countries, once I purchase the roaming add-on (humane.com/subscription). It looks like that will run me about $50. Alternatively, I already have international roaming on my phone, so I could use it as a hotspot and connect the Pin using Wifi.
For the short time you have it , are you enjoying it ? Is it as bad as the tech reviewers are saying ? I have it on order but the reviews are scaring me . Thanks
I am actually enjoying it, probably because I've tempered my expectations; for one thing, I'm not expecting it to replace my cellphone anytime soon. And, as shown in my video, there are some things that it does reasonably well - I'll create some more videos showing additional use cases as I discover them.
I'd be interested in hearing some Chinese, and the Chinese language has different dialects based on region. Ask it to translate, "I ate rice for dinner last night".
Unfortunately, it only supports "Chinese Simplified" at this point. I've heard, however, that they're using Azure Speech Service (learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/speech-service/language-support?tabs=speech-translation) under the covers, so there are additional variants that could be added at some point
Loving! My pin it's getting better and better now the one's that didn't get one or returned or kicking themselves 😂😂
This is why I bought the pin and the video review I’ve been looking for. Thank you
You're welcome. Glad I could help! If you're interested in translation, be sure to check out ruclips.net/user/shortsrarbwmUK4os?feature=share as well.
Would be nice if there was a workaround for listening to podcasts.
Hmm... yes, that would be a bit of a challenge. Maybe "Dial-a-Podcast" where you can listen to podcasts over the phone? 😏
I love live in city full of Spanish people that will not speak English. This would come in handy.
You live surprisingly close to me! 😳
But it won't work there because you don't have coverage, right?

Finally a product that beats the pet rock for the dumbest product ever.
Aww... comeon. It's at least as good as a tamagotchi, right? 😂
@PintouristSFO No way! Tamagotchi comes in all kinds of colors and makes no mistakes. :)

@@PintouristSFO awesome thanks for the response.

I have a Chinese colleague... I'll try out your phrase and record her reaction!
