If the kid is old enough he does not need a parent's permission to be a doner. Who does this "mother" think she is fooling? There is nothing that a lawyer could do especially when the surgery has already happened.
Exactly, the ex wife is just petty but Sean chose this, chose to offer his dad his kidney. Sean chose to reconnect with his dad & I think that's wonderful. It shows his maturity & his ex wife needs to just let go
@@marikatemoore5110 I always felt torn on this. On one hand, Dean admitted that he had been a horrible husband/father, so I can understand how from the ex-wife's perspective, Dean is just "suddenly" back in Sean's life and being upset about it. But on the other hand, Sean OBVIOUSLY kept their reconciliation from her for a REASON.
Sean's mom is acting like he is a 5 year old child and not a man in his 30's like HE CAN MAKE HIS OWN DECISIONS WITHOUT PARENTAL GUIDANCE. Also, Dean isnt at fault for being sick!
Doc: So you're ready to meet your new kidney? (feels that negative vibe in the room) I think I should either not walk in the first or I should get the hell out of here.
Marshall and Weber were love interests in the short lived Chicago sitcom Cursed in 2000-2001. Amy Pietz made a cameo in this series as well and Wendell Pierce in Chicago PD. All that’s missing is Chris Elliott
This is what happens with helicopter parents. They believe they have a say about their adult children's lives. Wrong. Opinions yes, but STFU, mommy. Besides, maybe your little millennial will get a participation ribbon for this, too... The writing dynamics are ridiculous, and nothing like real life. Just one reason why I stopped watching One Chicago. None of it has any basis in reality.
You should have actually watched the episode. It let you know that she was acting this way out of spite. She didn't forgive Dean. Nor did she forgive herself for not being there for her son when she was younger. And even if it isn't something that you or others don't want, acknowledge. There are some people who act that way towards their child/children. No matter what age they are. Because they may have NPD,they are controlling and manipulative.
LOL that last Doctor didn't realise what kind of scene he walked in on until it was too late
After watching this scene, I already dislike Archer's ex-wife.
You're not by yourself

Sean is literally in his 30s like he can make up his own mind
The ex needs to butt out!
shes acting like sean is a 12 year old
I am glad that she changed her mind. She was only acting like that because she didn't forgive Dean.
0:07 Describing someone as “crippled” is ableist.

Nothing new with a divorce couple and their child
Did he get the kidney???
Yes. He got it. Maggie got through to her.
Isn't that Kelly Severide's mother too?
No not the same actress
Kim Delaney played Severide's mom. Paula Marshall plays Archer's ex-wife. She also played Eddie's mom in 9-1-1.
@@jillanderson3242 oh OK. They look very similar
Paula Marshall always seem to play the uptight mom, who thinks she's knows better than anyone else, just like she played Eddie's mom in 9-1-1.

Wait? So you agree they are right, but disagree that they are right?

Which season and episode ?@@ladennayoung2939
More realistic than Grey's Anatomy but
