I really didn’t like how Violet was so volatile with her mom, especially since Kristy had it in her heart to forgive Bonnie. Yet Bonnie was violet’s favorite
Similar to Christy, they have a pattern of blaming their parents for things they really weren’t responsible for. There’re plenty of reasons to blame Bonnie and Christy for shit parenting, but they end up blaming them later on for things they didn’t do, or getting worked up over trivial things. In this case it’s on Violet. Sure it’s her right to not tell her future fiancé she once had a child, but it’s on her for assuming Christy and Bonnie would know to never bring it up. Violet could have said to keep the first child a secret. Now when the secret got exposed unintentionally, instead of taking responsibility, she deflects and doesn’t appreciate how it would be an honest thing to happen in a healthy relationship that could be worked out. Instead she uses it as an excuse that they can’t move forward with a relationship. If she doesn’t want to have a relationship for how Christy raised her in childhood that’s one thing, but exploding and telling someone that this is another reason to justify cutting someone out of their life is incredibly immature and inappropriate especially when it was on Violet to have had that discussion with Christy and Violet if she didn’t want her fiancé to know about her first kid.
I never bought the storyline of Gregory breaking up with Violet because she had been pregnant. She's got a mother and grandmother who are alcoholics, but getting pregnant as a teenager was a bridge too far for him? Even though she had done a very selfless thing by giving her baby up for adoption? That should have elevated her in his eyes.
This is the problem with middle aged men, they genuinely think that young women will love and want them forever. 🤔 Violet literally was partying, out with her friends all the time and got bored of his old self pretty much straight away. 🤷♀️
Men like to tell themselves stories. They think the solution to their dating woes is to just find a younger woman with "less baggage," but then they end up getting played by a young woman who is not ready to settle down. In order to find a good partner, you need to do the work on yourself. Men would rather find a younger, "easier" woman then just fix their own personality flaws.
@@chrisgonzales4420 😂 Young women will always have more sexual opportunities, so it’s not the same thing at all. It’s apples and oranges, men will never have the same chances with women, young and old, they get rejected a lot more, so having a regular, monogamous partner is a godsend for most guys, with the exception of millionaires.
@@chrisgonzales4420 I mean, yeah, he's 40+ years old and should know better, and so should those 40+ women. If you're at that age and still looking for barely legal teenagers or could be your child's age, that's a sign of immaturity and being emotionally stunted.
We need to start teaching our daughters that Age does matter! It’s a stage of life, and brain development! If you’re at 2 different stages, it won’t work, plus it’s predatory! There’s age of consent for a reason, and your brain isn’t fully developed until age 26, so grown men who target even the 18-25 girls who’s brains are still developing, are still predators, and should be shamed! If there’s a big age gap, it leads to fertility trouble, and if there’s kids, the older spouse is closer to Geriatrics than the other spouse and will die sooner than the other spouse. This is why people need to stay with their own age! If they are young enough to be your kid or your parent, it’s an automatic off limits!

I mean that’s your judgement. You can do that. But legally it isn’t illegal. I don’t think it’s gonna end well for many. The generation gap will end in having nothing in common. But 19 is an adult. 42 is far above that. Which I think is weird. But it’s also not my business. What I mean is…have your judgements but if the two parties are of consenting age?
