Thanks brother, Clutch rarely misses, but the early parts of the video were a bit painful. I think they've earned my forgiveness for years of good listening.
I'm 3 and half minutes in and the snare sound is driving me mad. It seems to be clipping very hard. The sound man had one job! And at Red Rock's of all places, you'd think they wouldn't let stuff like that happen.

As a 15 year old, I had a u2 live at red rocks video on betamax. I thought this band u2 were the biggest band in the world cuz they were playing this awesome amphitheater. A year or so later, I'm in this quirky neighbors bedroom. He's showing me his new 99 dollar Cort electric guitar which was identical to mine, minus the color, his extensive tape and CD collection which included everything from Metallica to 10,000 maniacs. Never would have guessed years later he'd be playing red rocks. Nicely done, Neil
I never thought I would see Neil continue his oration as a fucking rockstar. Dude used to hold court in high school. He was like a messiah to all the skaters, punks and emo kids when we were all young. Many people hung on his every word back then. Cool to see that it's happening still. I also never thought back in math class I'd see JP in Modern Drummer magazine either, but here we are. So great to see these guys live a dream I've always wanted to live myself.
@@sca1871 really? I used to skate at the end of Solitaire Court when it was still being built which was basically Neils backyard. I talked to Danny at the target of all places in Germantown a few years ago. Haven't seen Neil in ages
Seeing Clutch live for me is like going to a Baptist Church on Sunday morning! I give praise to our Bishop Neil Fallon and the boys for what they give us each day my Earth Rocking Clutch brothers and sisters!
They used to play $5 shows at a bar in west chester PA 20 years ago... 180 people max at the venue. I saw them so many times I can't remember. Awesome shows!
Neil being somewhat of a preacher goes all the way back to high school at least. He definitely had some devout followers then, and there was no such thing as Clutch yet. Small in stature, large in personality. Glad to see he ended up leading a cult of positivity!😅 These dudes have absolutely rocked for so long.

I feel like I used to in the 90's and early 2000's. They were some of the best shows I ever saw. In those early days they could mix a bit of every album at every show. I know they still change it up but there's so much material now that they don't even remember how to play some of it. Still they are one of the best ever. Their consistency is unrivaled.
@@questioneverything3332 me too. It seems like every time they come to town Im not able to go. The last time my baby sitter tanked and I had to sell my tix.
Neil...sporting the Cain's Ballroom shirt. I've had the pleasure of seeing them there 6 times over the last 25 years. Discovered them thru Beavis & Butthead back in '93 with "Shogun". Had no clue they'd still be excelling to this day but sooo grateful!! Clutch...so consistent & solid after all these years man!
I named my son Clutch in August 1996! It was the 90s, but this band has not stopped touring in over 30 years! Time tested & true! I watched Marilyn Manson open for these guys in the basement of a bar in Milwaukee for the self titled album tour & Neil had a stormtrooper figure in his pocket. Most people didn't know who Marilyn Manson was 😂
I saw Clutch on this same tour at Soma in San Diego in 95! Clutch opened for Manson and it was my first time hearing them. Tons of energy! Manson were on the cusp of getting big as Sweet Dreams had just been released on their Smells Like Children EP. Hard to believe this was almost 30 years ago!

my earliest Clutch memory was seeing them in CT open for Limp Bizkit in a tiny little bar before Limp Bizkit's first album even released. I think 7 dust was there as well.
Clutch always professional. They know it’s the fans and the crew that make everything possible. Love clutch and move heaven and earth to see em whenever possible.

I know all the songs and know Neil delivered a Master class but the echo was ridiculous...I hope the captured the raw audio for the final edit. Not trying to detract, they were all on point and played to perfection.
Yeah - first two tracks drums sound awful, bass can't be heard and there's an echo on everything. Guessing as the support act (??) they didn't get a full soundcheck which is madness.
I saw Clutch again for the first time in awhile, and just reinforced my love for this band. Been listening and with great joy for 30 years and nothing else compares. They just keep getting better with time like a fine wine.
"I will not relent. I will not relent. I will not relent. I AM DRIVEN." -who knew that song would end up being prophetic regarding the band's work ethic.
Clutch is one of those bands, that's so special, that I can remember exactly where I was, and exactly what I was doing when I first heard them. I bet other fans reading this had an equally unforgettable experience when THEY first heard the band CLUTCH too. For me it was in late August of 1993 when I was headed to work (approx 7:35 am) and listening to the local college radio station, KUNV 95.1, when I heard THIS Amazing Song. "So beebopaloobopawhopshamboo And domo arigato if I got to. Beebopaloobopawhopshamboo And domo arigato if I got to" I bought the CD, "Transnational Speedway League: Anthems, Anecdotes and Undeniable Truths", after work at Tower Records that same day and it's been a Love Affair with a "Band Named Clutch" ever since.
