I had a productive early morning, i cleaned my kitchen, changed all the downstairs towels and tea towels, and put laundry on...all before 9.00am. I then went off to my Art class. I will finish my downstairs zone tomorrow....love from Cornwall
“Well thank you very much Jerry”, as Margo Leadbetter from the Good life used to say 😂 I had to go on EBay and buy one of the reusable Henry bags thanks to you Kate 😂🤣❤ Sian x
Did mine today all ready for the weekend, also in our farm house we had our barn converted and attached to the farm house, with 2 floors built and all finished today and all ready for furniture to arrive and be put in place lol
You are doing a fab job. It was a sunny day down here. I have managed to sort out a flexi tub of junk another one to do. Bedroom is almost there. One cupboard shelf left and the window. I reset the whole room last week. I just fling out my vacuum bag i'm afraid.
Hiya Kate hope you’re okay yes I always like to get the house fresh and ready for the weekend can’t wait to see your house at Christmas time please can you show us some of you old decorations xx❤️
This weekend we’re painting our bedroom,it’s all torn apart, which isn’t good for my anxiety, lol. But we’ll be done by Saturday afternoon. I usually make sure the house is cleaned for the weekend, but no time today.
Please don't empty vacuumbags, it a dirty job and they are not made to be reusable. Most vacuum manufacturers have gone from papert to a fleece marerial that filters alot better and your vacuum motor will last longer. I know the UK are known for likeing to empty rather then changing them out, in sweden we like to just change the bags. There are alot of stuff in the dirt in the bags that is not healthy to breath in😊 I mostly use unscented floor cleaners, clean does not smell eventhough i love a great room fragrance ❤
Glad the machine wash of the mops went great, I wash all my cleaning supplies in the same wash on 90c, I never mix them with other laundry and 90-95c kill all the nasty stuff 😊
Thank you I must admit I don’t empty them either I just change the bag but I’m considering doing it . Awful to know I can if I ever run out of bags . I think you would love the bicarbonate of soda floor cleaner it just smells fresh
I “personally” would never reuse the same vacuum bag Kate. A vacuum bag has thousands of tiny pores in the material which become caked with dust as the back fills and suction will be very decreased. I too would also recommend using only genuine High efficiency particulate air (HEPA) fabric bags, especially with numeric Henry’s, Hetty’s etc. You’ll get improved filtration + longer life out of you vacuum because lees fine dust will be entering the motor. 🙃
Thank you for the tips Daniel I did not realise the numeric vacuum bags varied so much and were different I’ll look more closely next time I order them
