I own both cameras, and consider myself extremely lucky to have both of them in my arsenal, and to be able to select between the two when their particular strengths are advantageous. I lean heavily on the RP still, but the R10 has come in handy more than once. One thing that I like about them is the similarities in control layout and function as well. It’s also handy having the same battery for both cameras. I have the custom button layouts on both cameras mapped the same, so there’s very little transition back and forth. The AF system on the R10 is probably the one thing that makes my RP feel “old.” I’ve vowed to replace it sometime this year, most likely with an R6mkII. And I suspect that the R10 will continue to be a nice complimentary second camera to that one as well.
Great quality video, I am 25 year old looking to buy my first camera and this video has helped mm make it far clearer about the r10 and rp than canon does. Thanks.
This guy cracks me up. I mean he has a grandfather clock 😂 He also did a GREAT job of explaining the differences between the two models as I was on the fence
Unfortunately I have several of them, they are all Chinese rip offs worth naff all, my studio is my other half's dad's old shop and I have to work around lots of relics from the past, a bit like me 😁
I’ve been around the trade since the late 80s I don’t think these has been a ever more confusing complicated time in photo. I have now come to a point of ‘ stop chasing upgrades and differences’ you will never be satisfied . And we talk about old which often makes me laugh . None of these are old and all callable of a professional job . Most people will never print big enough to worry about quantity these days ,. Just focus on your skills instead of chasing a camera that will hopefully improve your photography, you will always be chasing
