That filled me with so much nostalgia. Took me right back to 1989, braying the bejesus out of my '85 Mk2. It's been a long time since I heard one "on the pipe" so thank you. It also made me nostalgic for summer. So that can hurry the f up. I get my 125/350 thrills now with a 390 Duke. It isn't the same, but it's still more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than be scared half to death by my fireblade...
@Froobyone cheers👍you're welcome 😁 I get what you're saying, the smaller cc strokers are still fun to ride, especially down a nice twisty lane😎 i hope to get some more rides in this year. I also have an R1, and yes it's quick, if you want to overtake a few cars it's easy, the 2 strokes need a planned overtake😁👍
Just curious, but what’s the benefit of having the power valve fixed open? If my understanding is correct, you’d have the same power at high revs but with the power valve unable to close you’d have less power at low and medium revs.
wicked video. I have a kmx 2T and a wr125r. one is expensive to run/maintain, is time consuming on the maintenance but is such an injection of adrenaline its unreal, the other is a quarter the cost and way less fun. I reckon your RD can hit 90+ gps tracked on a track 😄 - just watch out for those mopeds on the track - they might smoke you 😂
@mrburn6119 cheers👍😎RD has shown well above 90mph many times, on a private track of course😉😁 I do like a kmx, is it green?🤔😁 Not heard of a wr125r, heard of the 200 which is basically a dt200 isn't it🤔so which is the expensive time consuming one?
@@mellowr1private tracks are the best 😉. i have not passed big bike licence but have heard some people say that riding a small 2t to its limit is more fun than having a big bike? the kmx is blue/black hope to get it to totally blue, and the wr is a yamaha wr125 r 4 stroke - so thats the cheap unfun one stay safe
Brings back memories! - didnt do a lot below 7k as I recall!. Great ride - know those roads - 1066 Cafe very popular nowadays. If you have a ride to Pevensey bay sometime try the Bay Diner cafe - do some great food. JS Gedge Honda dealer is over the road - saw a mint completely original Fireblade on road test when I was there last. Keep up the filming and bad language! 👍.
@shaundadson8302 cheers will do👍😁 Mines not too bad below 7k as has working YPVS👍 1066 is busier I believe because there's currently nowhere to park for the cafe in rye. Must be killing the little cafe there, but that should change soon👍😎

I loved my rd125lc, old short micron exhaust sound great, , thrashing it ,those were the days.
@@kevinmee3501 it's still the same now. Loads of fun👍😎
Sublime!
Those motors are just mint!
I miss my RXS100... I've had big bikes, but....
Cheers👍Yeah the old 2 strokes are still great fun to ride. And everyone wants you to start them up so they can hear and smell them😎
