I also have an R1, and yes it's quick, if you want to overtake a few cars it's easy, the 2 strokes need a planned overtake😁👍

@mellowr1 sorry the rd 350 ypvs I had a 1980 rd 350lc with allspeed back in late 80s and 90s just one of my favourite bikes

@scottcowie227 cool I think we all had one back in the 80s😎👍 I had an lc 125, then an F1 350 ypvs when I passed my test🙂 They are still great fun to ride now, we have some fun rides out on our strokers👍😎

Yes kind of ruined the day🙄luckily I was with some good mates who are pretty handy and one lived local. First puncture in 12 years so not too bad though I may fit mousse instead👍 A few of the lanes are longish, most are quite short here though😎

Cheers mate 👍 Yeah the LDT's are good. I've done them with 3 clubs, one is Surrey area, ones Eastbourne and my local one in Kent area. Kent one I find easiest and I only do the easy sections as I'm no pro🙄😁 The bonus is you get to ride byways from other areas so bit of a change from the usual. Seems the further you go up north the better and longer the byways. They seem to have miles of them👍😎

I did all the easy sections, except the second section as the hard was easier than the easy🤔😁and I skipped 2 hills near the end. The white flags are the hard route👍

Cheers👍😎 It is a great event👍🙂 my favourite of the LDT's I take part in as this one is set in my area and the sections are a bit easier than other LDT's but there are also hard sections if you're a bit more talented which i am not. Just a beginner😁👍

@chrismillicent3287 there are other LDT vids in a playlist on my channel👍 Yes mine is standard at the moment, intend getting an FMF pipe for it sometime soon though. I bought mine purely for the reason it is the smallest "enduro" bike out there as I'm vertically challenged😁 plus my DT was slowly getting wrecked. The xtrainer is a great bike, loads of low down grunt whichever gear you are in. It's also very light. Quite a few guys use them on LDT's.. They are designed for slow tricky stuff, so on the byways you will find yourself in about 5th or 6th gear. I went up one tooth on the front sprocket just to drop the revs a bit when doing road work. As I say great bikes. Love mine. Any other info you need just ask and enjoy your beta👍😎

@ant-ep1sq nothing too special. Just brim the fuel tank with ethanol free fuel, add stabiliser to it and run it through carb then leave it. Sometimes I drain the carb, sometimes I run aspen fuel into it👍 The main thing is keep it warm and dry and away from road salt and rain 👍😁 it normally fires up first kick when I get it back out👍

@@ant-ep1sq I try not to leave anything stored with it in it🙄even the super unleaded's contain some now. The Esso synergy supreme i have separated has contained 2% ethanol, not perfect, but better than the rest👍

@JayDutch-UK-MK KCC interactive map. In os maps you can put the tapo layer on and it shows byways/orpas etc. Think you have to subscribe to create or save routes, not sure as I have subscription

Join the TRF, can use their Green Road Map app then to plan out routes to ride

@JayDutch-UK-MK I have routes plotted in gpx files which cover most of the area. Some use the same lanes as we are limited on legal lanes down this way. I can email them to you.
