This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T is one of 287 hardtops built for the model year with power from a 426ci Hemi V8, just 137 of which were coupled with a four-speed manual transmission. It was repainted in its factory Plum Crazy with a black vinyl roof and black side stripes under prior ownership in the 1990s, and it was purchased by the seller in 2023. The car was optioned with the A33 Track Pak that included a 3.54:1 Dana 60 rear axle with a Sure-Grip limited-slip differential.
The interior is outfitted in black vinyl with front bucket seats, a woodgrain center console, a Hurst pistol-grip shifter, and an AM/FM radio, while other equipment includes dual Carter four-barrel carburetors, a 26″ radiator, 15″ Rallye wheels, and a Shaker hood.

Thanks much. 60 years a car nut and this was my first ride in a hemi. I once drove a new 69 Road Runner stick and I remember the gearbox/shifter combination was a bear, hardly a slick shifting unit.
