Thank you. Yes. But be aware that the outcome is a little more dry. If you shape it Luke a rustic bread as opposed to a challah, it will have more room to grow and be more airy. That's what I do when using spelt. I would also add 2 cups of apple sauce to make it more moist.

Hi Bat-el! Question - the written recipe for this vegan challah doesn't include maple syrup or honey, do we need it?
Hi. I use 8 tbsp of brown raw sugar. But feel free to replace with your preferred sweetener.
