Okay I'm done reading these "Coulson didn't die" comments. Just sick of it. He was resurrected. Loki killed him, SHIELD fixed his body and restarted his brain. Not elegant, or pretty, or easy, he seriously wanted to stay dead (on this one point he could honestly sympathize with Thanos), but he was resurrected. So AGENT COULSON DIED! They resurrected him. Get over it.
L. T C. A company does NOT spend millions of dollars an episode on a show in which a continuing subplot is one of your main people died and was resurrected. "Fanon" would be like what is Nick Fury doing now, or what is Lore doing when he isn't f'ing with Data and the Enterprise crew. Also AoS was declared part of the MCU, when the show started and that has not changed. As if explaining why Coulson really can not be directly involved with the other Marvel Superheores right now, tying the show directly to the events in Cap2, wasn't enough. I'm not a diehard for the show, but I try to be clear on what is going on and what it is. You denying it doesn't change what it is. Whether you like or hate the show, changes nothing.
The detective going up the stairs in alfred hitchcocks psycho was still the most unexpected thing I've ever seen. It still gives me goosebumps well between that and the end when they find the "mother"

Absolutely tore me apart when Jack Twist died in Brokeback Mountain. Didn't expect the film to end happily but somehow I never expected that one of the men would actually die. Completely broke my heart
Flam3crow Wtf..? I watched all movies, but Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D I didn't really enjoy so I stopped watching after the first 3 episodes. Did I miss something?
Judi Denny’s dementia was getting worse and remembering lines was getting harder and harder. They killed her off to give her an unambiguous departure from the show before she was unable to continue with it.
I liked Coulson so much, and when he died, I actually shouted "NOOOOO!" in the theaters. I mean, that guy assemebled the Avengers alongside Fury. But I was so happy when he was alive in Agents of Shield
SPOILER ALERT she dies from rebellious action from the Capitol when a bunch of parachutes exploded and killed not only Prim but about a group of kids with her as well

When I first watched ZombieLand, I didn’t know what to think but seeing that scene totally surprised me until he says regretting making Garfield. Wow, and I thought Ryan Reynolds regrets doing The Green Lantern
I don’t want to spoil it, but there is a certain Safdie brothers film with a very surprising death and the very end. Those who know what I mean know all to well what it was like to first watch that film. I saw it in theaters and loved watching the whole audience recoil and gasp in utter shock
Why are people so pissed off that Coulson is on this list? The title clearly reads MOVIE deaths. And did he die in the movie (The Avengers)? Yes, he did. And sure he's alive now in the Marvel Universe. But that doesn't make him not dead in The Avengers. Most of the people who commented on this probably never saw the entire first season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in which it's completely explained that he in fact was dead. I won't spoil the reason why he's alive for people who still want to watch the first season. But the list is right.
Do any of you realise that some WatchMojo videos that are not part of a series have some common entries? For this video: In the intro, the death from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (0:05 in this video) was #10 in "Another Top 10 Hilarious Movie Deaths". The #5 entry was #6 in "Top 10 Hilarious Movie Deaths". The death from "Final Destination" (an honourable mention, 12:05 in this video) was #10 in "Yet Another Top 10 Hilarious Movie Deaths".
Collin Ferrell (I think that's his name.) in "Minority Report". That shocked me the first time I saw that movie. It was just like Spacey's death in "L.A. Confidential".
Okay to everybody saying that Coulson is alive, Yes he is alive but he did DIE in the avengers and he STAYED DEAD for a couple of days until they managed to bring him back from the dead as we learned in The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D series. So he is qualified for this list.
Phil Coulson died in the Avengers and then was revived days later by personal order of Nick Fury using a Cree (Ronin's species from Guardians of the Galaxy) blood serum and horrible operations. But he was dead and did die.
Well actually no, not in the movie. Fury said that Coulson was somewhat well and alive after his inspirational speech thing. And since this is a list related to Movies only thats kind of a mistake.
In the Agents of Shield series Coulsin is dead for 4 days, then takes a reviving drug which saves another Shield agent. It is also a very nasty process reviving him.
Robert Longo Well I'm not familiar with the series but the point stands. This list is strictly related to Movies so what happened in the series doesn't really count.
One death I wasn't expecting was Hollom's from Master and Commander. After being ridiculed by the crew for supposedly cursing the ship by being a Jonah, he fell into a state of depression, and ended his own life and the curse, by jumping off the side with a cannonball.
These are the deaths that I think should be mentioned if you were to make another list (in no particular order) SPOILER ALERT Gomer Pyle from "Full Metal Jacket" Everyone dying (except Mr. Pink) in "Resevoir Dogs" Shosanna and HITLER dying in "Inglorious Basterds" Lester Burnham in "American Beauty" Neo in "The Matrix Revolutions" (even though it was a bad movie) Freaking Darth Vader in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" Bubba in "Forrest Gump" Pretty much everyone in "Snowpiercer" (p.s. like no one's seen this movie and everyone should cause it's amazing!) Akela - the 2016 Jungle Book, Will Turner and Sao Feng - Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World`s End, Vitruvius - The Lego Movie, Charles Xavier - Logan, Dobby - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1, Chuck - The Maze Runner, Leslie - Bridge to Terrabithia, Bane - The Dark Knight Rises, Mike - King Kong and Eddie Kasbrak - IT: Chapter 2.
That show never happened (i.e it sucks so I refuse to count it's as canon no mater what anyone says just like alien3). Coulson is dead and that sucks but we have to get over it.
My dad is not easily shocked, but the twist ending of The Sixth Sense shocked him like nothing else. One of the few films made by M. Night Shyamalan that I would watch again.
You cut out the part where Coulson finds out what that gun he was holding does. He deserves that much, for us to honor the little revenge he managed to get for his own murder.
The one from Final Destination shouldn't be a honorable mention because the entire MOVIE is basically a surprise and, evil, you don't know what is going to happen to EVERYONE THAT DIES until a min before the actually die
Mark Thorn: Not so much the fact that he dies, but the manner, in which it happens (Damien: Omen II) Shun (Children, Who Chase Lost Voices): Mere moments, after he kisses Asuna, too Jinwoo/ Jinu (Chakushin Ari Final). His sacrifice only makes the situation worse for Emily

So AGENT COULSON DIED! They resurrected him. Get over it.
No he didn't get fixed cause that God awful show doesn't count.
L. T C.
Agents of SHIELD does count. It is part if the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Your personal feelings on that subject count for squat.
Ever heard of fanon discontinuity. That's what did with this show when I realized it was no good.
L. T C.
A company does NOT spend millions of dollars an episode on a show in which a continuing subplot is one of your main people died and was resurrected.

It's not that he died its that WatchMojo a didn't have the common decency to show him blowing Loki away with the gun
The Sixth Sense should've been #1, I was shocked to learn that Dr. Crowe was dead all along.
I don't get you then, it was obvious since like 30th minute:)
@@Klubargutan Maybe to you, but I needed a rewatch to realize that he was dead all along

Can't say the death of Bill Murray in zombieland came as a surprise. Was pretty damn easy to see where it was going

Final Destination? Seriously?
You have to be pretty daft not to expect a Final Destination character not to die.
They made a list on that alone.
Too true
daft punk?
They didn't even pick the best surprise death from final destination. The end of either of the first two movies had the two most unexpected deaths.

I actually thought Leonardo Dicaprio from The Departed would have been in the top 5.
See, that is a much more unexpected death than the one in Django.
Not sure but I think that's on the first list they made on this theme
HeroesNStuff yep it's on the first list
Leonardo's death was far more expected in Django unchained. This list is kinda stupid and his death in the Departed was very unexpected

Phil Coulson is alive.
In the TV show
Nick Fury said it in the Avengers too.
When does he say he's alive
No he is not that show did not happen and in my mind he is six feet under.
L. T C. That show did happen. It s called Marvel s agents of Shield
The way Samuel L. was in Django unchained, I couod help but crack up at his reaction to Calvin's death 😆

What about The Amazing Spider-Man 2? Come on, did anyone of you expect Gwen to die or what?
It was in the comics, and a little foreshadowing within the movie itself
I did because I read the comics
They showed glimpses of her falling. People expected it
Everyone did, there was tons of things leading us to believe she would die somehow.
well she died in the comics, and plus her speech at the beginning pretty much spoils it

iBraderz He died, he was rresurrected 8 days or so later using some thing i cant remember the name of, they go into depth with it in the tv show.

Coulson was resurrected sometime between the end of "The Avengers" and the premiere episode of "Agents of SHIELD."

Coulson's death is the only shocking thing in all of the MCU so far and it doesn't even stick.
What about quicksilver?

my most unexpected death was the main character in the recent Red Dawn (the character's name, but it was played by Chris Hemsworth)
It should have been Josh Peck. His character was fucking annoying.
Floydthefuckbag did you even see the original.
Yea that was the only really good part in a bad movie
I wasn't expecting that either
The one thing I wanted to tell Coulson in the first Avengers movie was, "QUIT BRAGGING AND FIRE THE DAMN THING!"
Not even an honorable mention for Matt Damon in The Departed?

Dobby - Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1,
Chuck - The Maze Runner,

Bane - The Dark Knight Rises,
Mike - King Kong
and Eddie Kasbrak - IT: Chapter 2.
Surely The title should be Another first.
Really? Not the Amazing Spider-Man 2 when Gwen Stacy dies?
everyone totally saw that coming
She dies in every thing related to Spider-Man
That was pretty much the most expected part of the whole movie. ESPECIALLY if you read the comics.
Trailers dude...trailers.
hahaha one of the movie posters had the exact same layout that the comic book cover did when she died hah it was expected
What about Chris Hemsworth in Red Dawn??????
Seeing Health Ledger near the end reminded me of his death in Monster's Ball - that could have made the list.
The cat's death in The Boondock Saints was the best. That movie never stopped giving. I could watch it a million times and never tire of it!
What about Avatar?! Ya know the death of a certain female character that just gets shot near the end.

Seriously lol

Rachel should have been in the list, especially since hero’s prior to that movie always somehow saved both people.
It was going just well,I was like "I can watch till the end yeah!" then "The Cat" came up in the honorable mentions...
Han Solo from new star wars film
