    Thank you so very much! I just made these last night and they are very delicious! Not to toot my own horn but I am a great cook that can make some awesome dishes but a terrible baker. Every time I made cookies they never came out soft and chewy, but your recipe was perfect! Now I am so proud I can make cookies!

      I surely had a craving for peanutbutter cookies last night. I was not keen on the idea of adding chocolate chips but I tried it anyhow and loved it. I gave away half right away because the temptation was so great. Thank you for sharing this!

    could I use this same recipe to make regular chocolate chip cookies?

      Hi, no because you would have to take out peanut butter and the oatmeal. Then you ratios would be off. Here is a recipe chocolate chip cookies with walnuts but you can take out the walnuts. Hope you make these cookies :) simplyhomecooked.com/jumbo-chocolate-chip-cookies/

      If you are planning to replace it then it would work. However, if you want to omit the sugar, then it won't taste very good without the sweetness. Hope that helps :)

      Cornstarch would actually give them a crunchiness and more tender crumb instead :)

    Hi I want to know how to bake the freeze dough? How long do i need to defrost the dough? Can someone help me please?

      Hi, you can defrost for 30 minutes and then bake. I even bake straight from the freezer. I just add a few extra minutes and keep an eye on the. Hope that helps :)

      Hi! You can change the whole recipe to grams by going to the recipe and after all the ingredients you'll see the word metric and just click it! Hope this helps😊

    i tried this but im little confused with my oven bcz it has thermostat up and down does it mean 200 up and 200 down degrees i will set the temp? pls help me 😁

      You should be able to pick your oven temperature up or down to any temperature you want. You have to set the temperature then let it preheat. Hope that helps :)

      I did not refrigerate the cookie dough. But you can if you want to make the cookie dough ahead of time.

      You can use granulated sugar instead :) They might not be as chewy though.

      Glad to hear you enjoyed these cookies! It sounds like you over baked them if they aren't chewy. However, if you didn't over bake them then there is a chance it is due to the quick oats. Not sure since I have not tried using them for cookies. Hope that helps clarify :)

      Hi, I have never used any egg substitute to make these cookies so I don't know how it would turn out. However, I know that some people use flax egg as a substitute. Not sure on the final results though. Hope that helps :)

      @@SimplyHomeCooked i just did it and the peanut butter i used ruined everything 😆 the consistency was way too thick. it took time to cook but good thing it's not hard however it's not that chewy compared to what u did in the video. i'll make it again but no more peanut butter hehe
