Im from Boston so id have to agree..Boston teams have fans from everywhere..especially the Red Sox..its because theres so much history and great stories associated with them. The Patriots are kinda hated but even their story is great. But Bruins, Sox anf Celtics are the storied franchises that make fans outta people that have never even been to Boston.

I was a hardcore Canucks fan for this run. The Burrows goal single-handedly made me a fan of them. But after many years of not wanting to admit it, I now have to say, Boston deserved it way more. Vancouver showed up asleep to the Final, and Boston took advantage of them in every aspect. This was Canada's prime chance to win a Cup, yet those Canucks were never close to sealing the deal. I truly don't think any Canadian team will get a Cup for the foreseeable future.

Our history is documented, not so much from Boston, but we respect you because Montreal success, I am going to get hit hard from my Bruins Bro's, but it is what it is, I hate the Yankees as well, but the Habs are different for me, it is history, that is why we hate you because of your success, it is simple, OMG, Richard, LaFleur Roy, just the name a few, our hatred for you is in reality is Respect, if u want to be the best, you have to be beat the best. I remember being at a bar in downtown Boston with about a few hundred other people and when Boston won the Stanley Cup after 39 long years, grown men and women were wiping away tears of elation, shock, happiness, joy and laughter even disbelief as they were the driving force (with the Habs and Flyers) of the 1970s winning twice (1970 and 1972) and losing in 1974, 1977 and 1978.

Thinking back on this series, it went seven games for sure. But it wasn't like both teams were making it an epic series. Boston was clearly the better team. All there wins were by three goals or more while Vancouver won three games by one goal. That had to be concerning to be a Canucks fan even after you had a 3-2 series lead because Tim Thomas was the best player on the ice and the Bruins' defense was holding down a high-powered offense. Plus, I think Luongo shot himself in the foot with his comments on Tim Thomas.

2019 was worse because we lost to a team that had never won a championship in its history 2013 we were favored to lose but at least to me it felt like we had more of a chance

Please don’t remind me of 2019. It still hurts to think about it, but I got over the 2013 loss since 2017... still wish we won 2013 tho.

2019 hurt more than 2013 cause it went to 7 games unlike 2013 where it went 6 and game 7 in 2019 was at home too unlike 2011 (and game 7 in 2013 if it had been necessary)

Remember the song Everybody Knows Your Name? That song came true after this game.

I wish the end credits should've been a piano solo rendition of the Cheers theme from the final episode after Sam Malone said his infamous "I'm sorry, we're closed."

Was the Chara, Bergeron, Marchand, Rask Bruins a disappointment? Only one cup?

1 is better than none and they came just 1 short of 2. Cup is a team award and these are individual players

This should've had the classic Everybody Knows Your Name from Cheers in the background in the end credits.
