For two weeks i was making researches to decide on my first guitar. A lot of guys on the internet were recommending the 112 over 012. So i bought a 112. But after watching this video, i realized that i could buy the 012 too. Theres no too much difference.
yeah, differences are tiny but getting the best guitar you can afford is a wise thing to do, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.😎 112 is just a bit better, but it's only just a bit more expensive too 👌 thanks for commenting😊👍
There is a significant difference. The 012 is fine for a beginner guitar, plays well and sounds OK. The 112V has a number of superior features and will offer a satisfying service life for its life. 112V has split coil humbucker, alnico pickups, body mounted humbucker, different tuners, metal knobs (cosmetic). Fretboard also appears to be better quality veneer, and the body of course is Alder vs who knows Agathis/Eastern Mahogany/??? with the 012. Both bridges are pretty ordinary as far as the tremolo functionality goes, so I wouldn't quibble over them. Most will operate without the trem or its Mazak block. Most buyers of either of these gutiars will lock the bridge down and not use the tremolo anyway. Unless on a tight budget or wanting ceramic pickups, still not expensive the 112V is worth the 30% price premium.
Thank you for saying that!😊👍 unfortunately, I don't have access to that guitar right now...but 112VM is pretty much the same guitar as 112V, but the 112VM has a maple fretboard instead of rosewood yamaha has this cool comparison table of all Pacificas, you might want to check it out: europe.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/guitars_basses/el_guitars/pacifica/specs.html
Awesome Dude! Did you see Ibanez new guitar the AZES!? I preordered one! Wonder how that will do against these guitars. It’s basically everything I was looking for in a guitar and at a decent price. Still waiting for my PAC612, might cancel the order as they aren’t expecting any in for 3 or more months sadly, tired of waiting 😂
Ouch! They are keeping you waiting for long... 😅 I checked some AZES out, they seem really good. I had to get my hands onto one at some point😎 Thank you for commenting again☺️👍
Hey man, what do you think of the Pacifica 112J vs 112V? What is the difference between these 2? Is the 112V worth the slightly higher price mark over the 112J? Also what do you think of the Epiphone SG Special? Is it better than the Yamaha pacifica?
I like Pacificas more than Epiphone SG Special. But That Epi has really nice-sounding humbuckers. Check this for 112J vs 112V: guitaristnextdoor.com/yamaha-pacifica-112v-review/#yamaha-pacifica-112j
The 112J has Ceramic pickups, plastic knobs, no coil split and the humbucker is scratchplate mounted. The 112V has Alnico pickups, metal knobs, coil split and the humbucker is body mounted. The 112J is upmarket from the entry 012 with better sounding ceramic pickups, the same tuner mechs as the 112V and same Alder body as the 112V. Unsure about the bridge, presumably also the same as the 112V as their isn;t a great price differential between the two. The 112J is a very sweet sounding guitar. I like it. I have a couple of 112Vs BTW, along with two other higher segment Pacificas amongst others.
Hi! I haven't played the Smiger lg 2 pro so you have to do the comparisons of tone and specs yourself (it can be fun, you will learn a ton of new stuff!). Personally, I would get the Pacifica, but that's just me. Thanks for commenting!
thanks for commenting!😊👌 unfortunately, that guitar doesn't seem to be available here(Finland), and not in Thomann(Germany) either, so it looks like I can't review that😮😧
@Ashish massey checked the manufacturer's site, found Aria 714-MK2 -Fullerton. seems like a cool guitar for sure, looking at the specs, looks like a nice competitor for Pacifica 112V😎 and I love how it looks, better looking than Pacificas IMO, great move to leave the backside uncolored😍 I would love to test that out, hopefully it comes available where I live or at least on Thomann at some point😊👍
you can adjust the distance between fretboard and strings easily. just search ''how to adjust electric guitar action'' on RUclips! But these 2 had really spot-on action for me. It was low. Really easy to play👌😎 thanks for commenting😊👍

nice video dude, do you think this pacific 012 is superior to Kramer Focus VT-211S?

Pacificas are more versatile than the Epi SG Special, and have a tonally better albeit single humbucker.
Yamaha 112v or Ibanez GRX40?
is a better buy?
I would go with Yamaha Pacifica 112V :)
don’t buy ibanez’s budget shit
Do you think pac 112v still win over squier bullet?
Yes, I think so 😎
Can i play metal on112?
Sure. Jackson JS22 Dinky is even better. 112 is still not a metal guitar tho
Smiger lg 2 pro or the yamaha pacifica 112v?which has better tone and overall specs?
