Why didnt you just turn the Flush King water attachment point facing down? You can pivot the handle that you pull to dump when you got the dump hose hooked to it.
That "black thing" does not go on the Rhino Blaster itself. It's a vacuum breaker that goes on the end of your water spigot, after which you attach your hose to it. It's an anti-siphon valve that prevents any backflow from entering and contaminating your water system. The reason it goes between your water faucet and your hose is you don't want any contamination in your water hose backing up into your water system. Because your water hose, which should be used only for black tank flushing, may have been previously contaminated.
So old but what if I have a y splitter on it which has my fresh water and garden hose connected at the same time, would it make sense to use the breaker on that splitter?
I did the Rhino first. The on and off switch for the hose broke within the first day. (Blew off and sprayed me. Great experience.) I wanted to return it but they wouldn't take it back for obvious reasons so I bought another one. That one blew off and sprayed me within 30 minutes of the first use. I bought the Flush King and haven't had a single issue. His hose angle is different from mine but I don't see why he wouldn't have just rotated it so it wasn't on the top...
If you "rotate" the connection around so the flush hose is down, removing the strain, doesn't thst point the sewer hose connection up or at least not down for gravity to empty the black tank? I'd use a 45 or 90 degree brass connection or even quick connect; I use quick connects on my camper built-in black tank flush and have never had an issue, and the quick connects seal the hose for storage (no leaking into storage bin). The quick connect solution started when I had issues with the city water connection on my trailer would not seal cleanly and I'd have to crank down the connection, which meant disconnecting the hose also cranking the connection on the camper and i was concerned how long that would go on before i broke the camper connector.. So I just leave the quick connect cranked down on the camper and the hose connects and disconnects easily. Did the same thing at the other end with my "Y" connector, filter, and again, the hose is sealed for storage.
@@BrianSnyderPhotography I refer to the " hooks" connector; where you twist onto the opening studs. If you turn the flush king 90 degrees before attaching the hooks to the studs, the hose connector could be either on the left or right depending if you rotated 90 degrees CW or CCW before attaching. I wondered if the clear portion that is pointing down when the hose connector is at the top (normal), is now pointing other than down.
I have the Rhino and it broke just like your flush king on the hose input. I wish a company made one that was quality. But hey- it’s RV stuff- most of the industry is crap product for too much money.
I did a quick Google search and here is the weblink that shows where you might find one. www.google.com/search?q=where+to+buy+camco+Rhino+Blaster+Pro+in+orlando+florida&sca_esv=a66cce0409c10300&sxsrf=ADLYWIImfPs1RyQpkJeMpyqt_CRspdxZQg%3A1726233753892&source=hp&ei=mTzkZqH7MrqlptQP_MKHmQU&iflsig=AL9hbdgAAAAAZuRKqVAL7ruzy9dzaNZ18a-AGun-EInY&ved=0ahUKEwjhq8ntgcCIAxW6kokEHXzhIVMQ4dUDCBg&uact=5&oq=where+to+buy+camco+Rhino+Blaster+Pro+in+orlando+florida&gs_lp=Egdnd3Mtd2l6Ijd3aGVyZSB0byBidXkgY2FtY28gUmhpbm8gQmxhc3RlciBQcm8gaW4gb3JsYW5kbyBmbG9yaWRhMgUQIRigAUjshwFQAFibf3AAeACQAQCYAcoCoAHYIaoBCTIwLjExLjMuMbgBA8gBAPgBAfgBApgCI6AC3SLCAgQQIxgnwgIKECMYgAQYJxiKBcICCxAAGIAEGLEDGIMBwgIREC4YgAQYsQMY0QMYgwEYxwHCAggQABiABBixA8ICBRAAGIAEwgIOEAAYgAQYsQMYgwEYigXCAhEQABiABBixAxiDARjHAxiKBcICCxAuGIAEGLEDGIMBwgIEEAAYA8ICCBAuGIAEGLEDwgIOEC4YgAQYsQMYgwEY1ALCAgUQLhiABMICCxAAGIAEGLEDGMkDwgILEAAYgAQYkgMYigXCAgsQABiABBixAxiKBcICCxAuGIAEGMcBGK8BwgIGEAAYFhgewgIIEAAYFhgeGA_CAgsQABiABBiGAxiKBcICCBAAGIAEGKIEwgIFECEYqwKYAwCSBwkxNi4xNS4zLjGgB8rsAQ&sclient=gws-wiz
Mark Evans, you attach the clear end to your sewer pipe from the tanks and you attach the black opening to the sewer hose leading to dump opening. The clear end makes it easy to see when the water comes out clear after back flushing the tank making sure all the contents have been released.
That's not what he asked. I believe it is the anti siphon valve... And while it's recommended to go on the spigot to hose connection, most people seem to leave it attached to the valve on the cleanout instead.
The flush king hose inlet can be set to 4 different positions. The gate valve can easily be rotated to whatever location you like.

@Roasted Potatoes It’s a black tank flush hose. It shouldn’t be used for anything else.

Thanks for the info. Saved me buying trouble.
If you like the flush king get you a elbow to attach to the flush king so the hose won't be sticking up.i have the rhino blaster and love it

The one I had did not seem to turn. But thanks for the advice.

Thank you very much! This was very helpful!
If you rotate the Flush King clockwise one more pin, you won't have the hose issue. So, it's a user error, not design flaw.
I have had three and they all broke at the same location. Time to try something different. Thanks.
You know you can adjust the angle on the flush king so it does not sit on top.

Thanks for saving me the aggravation, I'll spend the few extra dollars and get the pro
I turn my flush king so the hose connection is not vertical but horizontal to the ground thus no pressure pulling on it.
Thanks, great information.
Yes, this helps. Thanks
Glad it was a help.
Were can I buy,in orlando fl

Just get a 90-degree water hose adapter
You can attach it so the hose spigot it down
The RHINO FLUSH is Made of much better, Heavy Duty Plastic!
Doesn't the black piece attach between the faucet and the hose?
