They are the same price actually. I just found out about both but the valtera one is out of stock for who knows how long. Can't find it anywhere. That must say something about the two. I can find this one anywhere no problem. So it makes me question the value of the CAMCO one. What is your opinion today?
You bring up some interesting points. Pricing: I just ran the part numbers through 3 of our supplier's websites and my wholesale price for the Camco one is twice as much as the Valterra. If you are finding them at the same price it could possibly mean that one is overpriced or one is underpriced? Quality: They are the same quality, the Camco one has more functionality if that is desired. I sell more of the Valterra one because it serves the needed purpose. Out of Stock: Due to COVID-19 the RV Industry is quickly running out of RV parts. Everyday items are getting harder and harder to get. I am going to great lengths to keep my store stocked for local customers. Our suppliers are out of the Valterra brand whereas they have about 20 of the Camco ones in stock across the country. They would normally have thousands of each in stock at any given time. My Opinion: If I really needed one I would buy the Camco while I still could.
