- How to setup the Ecovacs Goat G1. Ecovacs loaned me the Goat G1 to test out but I didn't really have a great yard for it so I gave it to a random guy to try out. Today I pick it up and try it at my new place where it's more suited for me to do a review.

Now what the manufacturer needs to do is have a string trimmer along the sides of the unit, so that every time it runs along the edges, it cuts them too!
Now if these robot mowers can also do the trimming, we'll be golden.
They need little goat/dog houses 😂. Not worried about overflow from the gutters on the shed??
Best mower for very busy people and people with mobility problems.
HAHAHA can’t wait for Tim’s battle mower robots, should put jousting sticks on them. I’ve got an uncle who owns a mower service shop, I’ll let him know he needs to start studying wifi networks etc. LOL.

Not for me, but interesting technology. What happens if a storm blows up? Does it cope with wind, rain and blowing leaves? If the sensors get dirty while it is cutting does it try to return to base for a cuddle? It’s a bit expensive to just leave outside in plain sight in an open front yard, but might be ok for a fenced area. Thanks for posting.
For $2500 it actually seems like a decent deal for someone with a yard like that if they don't like mowing or pay someone to mow. Interested to know how much they expect you to spend on blades and brushes per year.

Still have to test some more but I feel it will depend on what sort of yard you have. It’s not one size fits all it seems
