Please Update Firmwere for Canon Eos 200D. I think the disadvantage of the Canon Eos 200D is that it is less flexible (flexible ISO: 100"""200"""300"""400"""500"""600 to maximum ISO). This camera itself iso very rigid like 100-200-400-800-1600.
Quick question: is the 800D better for overall photography, or are they pretty much the same in that aspect? I know the 800D as more af points, but honestly I usually just use one.

The 200D is a much newer model, is quite a bit smaller and lighter and the auto focus when shooting movies is significantly improved so we would recommend to go for it.
Cross Type AF points are able to detect focus for both horizontal and vertical lines from the same AF point. Support down to f/2.8 means that this auto focus point is very accurate due to being able to focus at shallow depths of field as low as f/2.8. Hope this helps!
Suddenly my view finder has gone dark ...while on record n live view mode...able to make videos but not click pics ..it not showing anything through view finder ..only pitch black ..

New camera for me. Is it possible to remove the pre-flashing option when shooting on auto in dark conditions? I think other canon cameras allow that. Thank you .

If the memory card is full then the camera will continue to take images however there will be a warning on the screen telling you that the images cannot be saved.
Got my 200D/sl2 today, which is my first dslr, I've been messing with it for hours...I still feel like a deer in the head lights

I believe more af points will help greatly in photography because it will give you more flexibility and options for composition.

Image Stabilization is built in to our lens range. Look for the letters "IS" on the lens to check if it has built in Image Stabilization.
