I'd never cut a deal with the devil but I'd gladly trade my soul for your EVH talent. I bought probably the best looking Midnight Sunset that Sweetwater says they ever saw. The wood grain is amazing and I find something new in the wood grain every time I look at it. Between the pickups, the wood grain actually looks like the face of a wolf. I've often thought about just giving it to WVH in hopes of getting something or rather anything in return. LOL. Let me know how and I'll send you a pic if you want to see it. Rock on bud!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. The “Balance” tone is achieved by doing a wet, dry, wet setup with Harmonizer. Also playing it with an Ernie Ball Music Man Axis is ideal. 👍🏻

A lot of it has to do with my fingers and ability to channel Eddie’s feel. Because when others play my guitars through my set up, it sounds off…and they know how to play!! But I’m using a Marshall DSL40cr tube amp with EVH overdrive pedal, compression, Harmonizer, digital delay and my fingers. But I’ve also tweaked each pedal and the amp, as well.

I adjusted the height of the pickups, I flipped the direction of the selector switch, I adjusted the height of the strings slightly, I bent the whammy bar to be lower to the body and straighter. I don’t like the factory height or the extreme angle. Also, make sure to tighten all bolts from the headstock tuners to the neck bolts.

I would've loved to hear 5150. I know you'd have to tune dropped D. And to keep the flow that would've been impossible. I'll just rewatch the one you did before. But, Thank you nonetheless.

I use an EVH overdrive pedal, compression pedal, delay pedal, a chorus pedal and a harmonizer pedal for some of the Sammy era stuff.

Yup. It’s got a warmer sound than my other EVH standard quilt top in Chlorine Burst.
