As part of the 50th Year of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation in 2023, PM Kishida laid out a 10-year intensive people-to-people exchange initiative expected to reach more than 10 million people. As the international landscape becomes increasingly complex, a commitment to build and maintain such human networks in the region has become all the more crucial to peace and prosperity. Our expert panel will be moderated by Prof. Kei Koga and will feature Prof. Kitti Prasirtsuk, Angeline Tan, and Prof. Maria Monica Wihardja who will discuss the importance of cross-border ASEAN-Japan exchanges and how they form powerful new bonds.
