Even if Daryl survived the fall, Kyle would ate him, and if Daryl didn’t attack Kyle, two things could’ve happened 1. Kyle kills more people on accident Or 2. Kyle negotiates to get off on night shifts for the safety of his coworkers
it isn't a normal double barrel shotgun so he probably modified it to use different ammunition he could've hollowed out the entire insides and added a mechanism to quickly insert tomorrow munition like pellets and stuff

I wouldn't be surprised if some portion of people up and left the company due to this. Plus, everyone heard those gunshots in the ending, so that would be another "I'm gtfo" incentive, if the poor wages and illegal overtime policies weren't already enough for that.
I remember my first attempt on level 2 not noticing the employee in the mess room until it was too late. Plus side, got the achievement for devouring an employee!
He was probably a little cuckoo the entire time given how quickly he fell to insanity, but yeah, I understood his intentions at the very least. I wish there was some way to get a better ending for him, like not killing anyone or something.

Well, that same CEO is making you and others work unpaid overtime as a condition to get your paycheck which sets off the plot so said CEO might not be making the best choices.
Also another plot point which the player themselves are not privy to is how if you read the text about a few of the messes you clean up you can piece together that you're not the only worker who's angry about having to do the overtime "painter's mental breakdown", "The rebellion stage 1", "CEO's drunken rampage", and "The rebellion's last stand" these are nice small touches along with Dryal getting more and more unhinged as the nights go on I love this little game
I like the art style. It gives me some animal crossing vibes Other then that the game looks pretty cool. And I like the concept of a person who's a werewolf who in the end wants to make enough to pay off rent without killing as many people.
Corporations' payment and accounts are almost never under the CEO's *direct* control, but the company's accounting department. The CEO suddenly dying wouldn't affect payroll operations in the least for most corporations.
Day 1 of unpaid overtime and the artist loses it? Me: *as a creative* Yeah, that checks out. I love the touch that as the week continues, the messes you deal with show that the entire facility is losing it. Also Daryl: How many people have you killed? Cranky: None, let's keep it there, shall we? :P
None of them both are heroes or villains. Kyle and Daryl are both neutral. Kyle tries not showing himself to save everyone's lives while still working knowing his instincts are a massive danger. Daryl, just does his job but he didn't slept at all because of Kyle's new appearance
And the CEO is pure evil, making people work unpaid overtime or else they don’t get paid, driving people to the point of rebellions and summoning demons, not having cameras, and covering up a forklift related death.
the ending scene of Kyle staring at first seems like he doesnt care but its revealed in the comics Daryl and Kyle were very good friends so in this scene Kyle is stun locked realizing he not only drove his best friend insane but caused a domino effect leading to his death
My question is, who the heck did all that stuff!? First of all, if Kyle kills no one, a werewolf (presumably) still killed someone in the building. Second, there was apparently a ritual happening in a closet. Third, there was a workplace rebellion against the CEO which somehow ended in the bathroom with a lot of blood and the CEO (I think) dead. (Also of note there was a forklift accident, which is what I assume the memorial was for)
