    Already in his early years of his starring career this pianist revealed new worlds of expressiion. I´m lookimg forward to his performance in Munich on the 6th of December, nearly 10 years later than that in Tel Aviv...

    I love how stupid piano critics judge music by its emotion rather than its performance. Yes, emotion is good, but watching a piano performance and instantly thinking they are psychopaths is just stupid.

    Due letture unite da una chiara intenzione di "épater le bourgeois", in questo caso l'ascoltatore.
    Ma io preferisco come hanno suonato questa Fantasia Alfred Brendel, Wilhelm Kempff e soprattutto, con una resa emotiva unica, Radu Lupu.

      На мой взгляд эта прекрасная интерпретация Даниила напоминает мне фантазию Моцарта в исполнение Раду Лупу.Во всяком случае знал и слышал её. Тем более,что Раду Лупу закончил Московскую консерваторию.

    • @itsandiroo
      @itsandiroo 7 лет назад +6

      paul B I don't know. You can't really play how he played, without that kind of emotion. I don't really think he exaggerated it until the last part, because you could definitely tell it was legit emotion. It's hard to play as delicate and dynamic as he did without real emotion.

    • @bb4262
      @bb4262 7 лет назад +3

      Yes I know, but I heard many times specially westerner's talking about LangLang's and some of asians performer's exaggerated expression. But I really don't understand they defend and acclaim that of Daniil talking about his sound and expression. To me both look same. Even if he makes a great sound, his action and even his sound is exaggerated. isn't he?

    • @יואבקריסטל

      I don't think that he exaggerated,he was very connected and emotionally attached to this piece.
